A Cotswold getaway

The Hay Barn is a recently converted 17th century barn situated in the grounds of our house in the Cotswold village of Poulton. It is ideal for a romantic getaway or just a well earned rest! It has its own small secluded courtyard for eating in the summer months and we are happy for you to sit at the top of our field and enjoy a drink and the sunset should you wish. The space The barn sleeps 2 people in one bedroom with a kingsize bed. There is plenty of hanging and storage space for clothes. It has a bathroom, with bath and shower. It has a fully equipped kitchen - Nespresso coffee machine, Smeg fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob and washer/drier. Underfloor heating and a fire to keep you warm, and the TV has a large range of streaming platforms for movies, box sets and sport (Sky, Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and BT Sport). The Hay Barn is not suitable for babies or children. The property is in the Poulton conservation area, and located in the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Poulton has a beautiful 19th century church, a traditional Village Hall and it is also home to the popular pub, The Falcon. There are lovely walks and places of interest to visit close by, including Poulton Hill Estate vineyard. Poulton is approximately 5 miles from the market town of Cirencester. We are also close to a number of popular wedding venues - Cripps Barn is 5 miles away and we are 10 miles from the Oxleaze Barn and Stone Barn. There is private off street parking available. While there is no telephone in the Hay Barn and mobile signal is limited, the barn has wifi with fast internet speed. Guest access The accommodation fills the western end of the barn, and in the easterly end of the barn is a home office carefully sound proofed so you won’t be disturbed. We ask that all outdoor shoes are not worn upstairs. The downstairs has underfloor heating and a fireplace to keep you warm. The bathroom is downstairs.
