Escape to this private and secluded A-Frame home that sits by the broad and gentle Suches Creek! Relax on the swing in the large screened-in porch. This kid and dog-friendly property is nestled on one of the highest mountains of Georgia, with an elevation of around 3,000 feet above sea level. Surround by the Chattahoochee National Forest and with 180 private acres to explore, you have all the space to enjoy nature. This truly is a park your car and don't move it again until you leave location. The main spaces of the cabin: - 3 BEDROOMS and 2 BATHROOMS to accommodate 6 guests as such: Bedroom 1: King Bed Bedroom 2: King Bed Bedroom 3: 2 Twin beds - The basement has been converted into a game room with Billiards for at-home entertainment! - A washer and dryer! - A half-wrap deck and a screened-in porch with outdoor seating, dining, and a BBQ for grilling up tasty treats. - Down by the water’s edge you’ll find a firepit, chairs, and a couple of picnic tables for dining or relaxing next to the waters of the creek. - Year round hottub on lower level patio with a view of the creek! You are welcome to explore the surrounding property on foot but wheeled vehicles are not permitted for use on The Riverhouse property or surrounding neighbor properties. Additionally, it is unlawful to ride through the national forest on unapproved paths. There are many places to rent a cabin online, but Suches Vacation Rentals doesn't just rent cabins. We provide guided check ins, recommendations on local hikes and sightseeing, and staff on hand from 9am to 9pm to help you with your stay. Other things to note Suches Vacation Rentals provides the following amount of basic goods as a Starter Kit for your arrival at the cabin: Kitchen Trash Bags - 5 (under the kitchen sink) Paper Towels - 1 Roll per Kitchen Toilet Paper - 3 per bathroom Body Soap - Small sample bar soaps (with welcome kit in kitchen) Please make a note, this is a starter kit for your arrival. If you feel that you'll need more of these items you'll want to bring them with you or purchase them while you are in town. Since coffee and laundry detergent can be very personal choices we encourage you to bring those with you as we do not provide them. An ample supply of dish soap, dish detergent, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap are provided. Suches Vacation Rentals operates in a beautiful but very remote area of the North Georgia Mountains. Because professional linen services are not available locally, we personally handle all laundering in-house. Due to the remoteness of the area and no linen cleaning services, we provide on bath towel an done wash cloth per guest based on maximum occupancy of a cabin. If you feel you need more towels please plan on bringing those with you. Firearms & Weapons Policy: Firearms, ammunition, and other weapons are strictly prohibited on the property. Guests may not bring, possess, store, or use any firearms or weapons anywhere on the premises. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and peaceful environment for everyone. HOT TUB: A high standard of cleanliness is extremely important to us, so our team follows strict guidelines and drains, cleans, and refills the hot tub between every guest. Because of this, the hot tub may still be heating when you arrive. We appreciate your understanding and your help in supporting our efforts to conserve resources and reduce waste while maintaining comfort for every guest. No amplified sound equipment can be used outdoors between the hours of 10pm and 8am Sunday - Thursday and not between the hours of 11pm and 8 am Friday and Saturday. FIREARMS: For the safety and comfort of all guests, firearms are not permitted anywhere on the property, including inside the cabin, in outdoor areas, or in vehicles parked on the premises.
