Nestled along the waters of the salt ponds of Jan Kok is this quaint apartment of the Oleana family. The salt pond sanctuary is home to flamingos, water birds and mangroves. This is an ideal spot for nature lovers, bird watchers and trail hikers. Beach lovers can indulge in 4 of the best natural beaches nearby. The space This apartment is a wonderfully equipped accommodation. There is a comfortable queen size bed, a flat screen television of more 200 TV channels and a good internet connection to fulfill all your digital needs. If you are up to it you can even try reading one of the dozens of Dutch novels. For breakfast we facilitated a kettle and a coffee machine and even a blender to make your own fruit smoothie for a healthy start. There's a small cooking facility to fry/boil eggs or whatever culinary adventures you want to undertake. Ultimately there is a small microwave to heat a ready made breakfast/lunch. Of course we will make sure your first breakfast (free of charge!!) will be provided for, stored in the refrigerator with a freezer part to store ice cubes that you definitively need in this hot climate. Very important: free coffee and tea are ALWAYS plenty in stock! You can enjoy your breakfast/lunch/dinner inside the apartment or if you want you can enjoy it outside under palm tree leaves. For your day at the beach we provided the apartment with big beach towels and snorkeling gear, portable beach chairs and embrella's for sunshade!. Also a portable cooler to take to the beach. The shower is clean and functional, there are towels in stock and we put bath soap and shampoo ready for you to shed the beach sand. In the afternoon, in case you might want to skip dining out, there is a nice barbecue available. Guest access When staying in our Flamingo Sunset Studio, you'll be free to use our space and garden as a guest of our home. You do have your own modest outside terrace to enjoy breakfast, lunch or a drink!! You also have your own BBQ so you can enjoy your stay to the max!! Other things to note There is a big laundry and dryer available that you can use during your stay at a reasonable rate! You do have a drying rack to dry your swim wear so it will be ready for the next beach adventure.
