Description

Location, Location, Location…we're a short, 1/2 mile, walk to Secret Harbour Beach or Red Hook, the most happening place on the island: Including St John Ferry, grocery, pharmacy, Gas, Marina, and 20+ eateries and bars. We’re nestled within a large home with a tropical themed backyard. We have a Saltwater Pool, 5 decks, BBQ grill, Honor Bar, outdoor dining areas, lounge chairs, hammocks, Corn-Hole, and other bar games. Help yourself to our snorkeling gear, Ice chests or beach chairs. The space This 9-bedroom 7-bathroom house is divided into 7 separate units with their own ensuite bathrooms, kitchens and separate entrances. *Surfer Shack - 2 Bedroom (1 King and 1 King Loft), 1 sofa beds, 1 sofa futon and 1 Bathroom. *Coral Corner - 2 Bedroom (2 Kings) 1 Bathroom. *Salty Loft - 1 King Loft, 1 sofa bed and 1 Bathroom. *Turtle Cove - 1 King, 1 sofa futon and 1 Bathroom. *Seahorse - 1 Queen, 1 sofa futon and 1 Bathroom. *Starfish - 1 Queen, 1 sofa futon and 1 Bathroom. *Lazy Loft - 1 Queen Loft and 1 outside Bathroom. Sleeps up to 25 however we charge $35 per person per night for each person beyond 18 people. Each unit will have linens, bath towels, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and kitchen soap. The Kitchens are all well-appointed with refrigerators, ovens/stoves, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters as well as dining and cooking items. We also have enough coffee/tea to get you going in case you didn’t make it to the store for groceries on your first day. Our property is funky and fun and is the perfect place for the adventure minded traveler. We’re situated atop a small hill in a quiet East End neighborhood on Red Hook Bay where you can submerge yourself in Island life. Walk to bars and back safely or enjoy a stroll to Vessup Beach with Powda, the neighborhood dog (she'll show you the way). You will enjoy the easy access to everything the island is famous for without the long winding roads and steep driveways (beware the house with the beautiful view and 30-minute cliffside drive). PS: Chickens run free around the island, and you will hear them. Sometimes you'll hear them crowing in the early morning hours, sigh, sorry there's nothing we can do about that other than give you earplugs. Which we did. There are earplugs in each room. Oh, sometimes you can hear music and partying from Red Hook. If that sounds cool to you, enjoy. If it sounds terrible to you, we have earplugs ;-) Guest access The entire place is yours if you rent the entire house. If you see it, you can use it. Other things to note RULES: *THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY – DO NOT invite people to the property without our prior consent (we have cameras neighbors and a property manager) Non-Guests hanging out at this property will be trespassing. *NO GLASS in or around the POOL. *NO DIVING in POOL. *NO SMOKING OR VAPING inside the units! You are welcome to smoke on the patios and bar. *BE MINDFUL OF POWER USAGE! When you leave, TURN OFF the A/C and lights. We pay the highest in the Nation for power, It's extremely expensive. If you leave for the day with the A/C running our property manager may go inside and turn it off for you. *PLEASE read over our cancelation policy. We highly recommend investing in Traveler's Insurance, especially during Hurricane season. *Do not apply sunblock spray or bug spray on artificial grass or inside units. *Respect our neighbors, keep the noise down between 10PM and 9:00AM. ISLAND LIFE, FACTS AND TIPS………………… WATER: Ironically, water is scarce on the island. Most water is literally captured from the sky and stored in cisterns; it is a limited resource so please use it sparingly and please keep showers brief. We recommend buying drinking water for consumption. Electricity: Is ridiculously expensive! We have solar panels which help, but we ask that you TURN OFF your lights and AC when stepping out for the day. If you don’t, the property manager may enter your unit to turn everything off. Power Outages: In the event of a power outage, we have solar panels that will kick in automatically for several hours. Wi-Fi: We’ve invested a lot of time and money upgrading our Wi-Fi system and it’s been impressively reliable. That said, we are on an island and with it’s weather systems and power outages you could experience some disruptions. If you require solid consistent Wi-Fi, please have a back plan such as a personal hotspot or Wi-Fi mobile/device. Pool: We do not have a lifeguard, guests swim at their own risk. No diving! Sun: We are located near the equator….that means our sun is intense! Use sunscreen often. When applying sunblock spray please do so on the paved or gravel areas (not inside or on the grass). Chickens: There are wild chickens EVERYWHERE on the Island. We cannot control when they "crow" or make noise and it is illegal for us to handle or harm them. They are a part of the Flora and Fauna here. We have provided ear plugs in all our units for your comfort. Pests: This is a tropical island in the Caribbean, we have bugs here. Especially Mosquitos and little no-see-em’s at the beach. You will 100% see bugs and lizards during your stay. We provide screens, but if you don’t keep them closed, well, then they don’t work. Also, DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OUT because that attracts bugs. When applying bug spray please do so on the paved or gravel areas (not inside or on the grass). Taxi/Safari: It’s a good idea to verify the rate before you get into your ride. Also, carry cash with you. We have a list of reliable taxi drivers if you need it – just ask.
