Escape to this charming vintage log cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains of West Virginia, less than a quarter mile from the Appalachian Trail and a mile and a half to the Shenandoah River. This cabin is an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts as well as history buffs- or those simply wanting a peaceful, quiet get away. Our’s is a very rustic vintage cabin in the woods, on the side of a mountain. We offer a 10% discount to active duty military. The space This is a small rustic cabin! It has two bedrooms and one full bath and an open concept living dining area, a large three season porch and a deck. The furnishings are a unique combination of primitive early American and vintage mid century modern pieces. The cabin is on a 1 acre mountainside property in a community called Shannondale - which has a community lake and restaurant/ grill and Appalachian Trail access. Shannondale is situated between Charles Town and Harpers Ferry in West Virginia and abuts the Virginia/West Virginia line. Guest access The entire upstairs. The basement is not accessible from the upstairs and is unfinished. Other things to note We just had our driveway extended an additional 40’ with another street entrance. Currently there are trees that were cut down in the backyard. Until they are removed, use caution
