The space Welcome to Luna Lodge, a pet-friendly haven named after the female alpha, nestled just 4km from Revelstoke, BC, and at the base of Boulder Mountain. This cozy 4-person, 564-square-foot retreat, set on a sprawling private 25-acre property with three other lodges, welcomes you with breathtaking mountain vistas and contemporary comforts. Step inside to find a cozy living area adorned with knotty pine walls and a full equipped kitchen featuring new stainless steel appliances. ensuring a comfortable stay. Two cozy sleeping areas with plush bedding and Douglas mattresses ensure a restful night's sleep. Take in the scenic beauty from the north-facing deck, offering shade and a serene mountain backdrop. Parking for 1-2 vehicles and smaller trailers is available in front, with additional parking elsewhere on the property. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, this private retreat offers direct snowmobile access to Boulder Mountain/Frisby Ridge Trails, along with close access to hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and more. New summer 2024, our onsite Kihîw Nature Trail—a 1km seasonal interpretive loop—highlights native flora and fauna, emphasizing indigenous cultural and medicinal uses. For winter adventures of 2024/2025, we’re excited to introduce an exclusive snowshoe trail, with rentals available to guests. End your day unwinding in the shared cedar barrel sauna or relax on your private deck with a barbecue, taking in mountain views and starry nights. Our custom-designed dry room and gear storage ensure your equipment stays adventure-ready. Don’t miss enjoying fresh local coffee from HOLM Coffee Company. Luna Lodge at Alpha Mountain Lodging invites you to a serene and private sanctuary, nestled in Revelstoke's famed only inland temperate rainforest. We are proudly Biosphere certified (Alpha Mountain Lodging - BAR 012/2024 RTI), demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility. We use eco-friendly soaps and toiletries from Forage & Fill and support fair-trade partnerships like HOLM Coffee Company. Our construction and design emphasize local materials and sustainable practices, with native landscaping and responsible waste management. By embracing eco-friendly initiatives, we work to preserve Revelstoke’s only inland temperate rainforest for future generations. PETS: We're pet-friendly! Up to one well-behaved pet is welcome with prior approval. A $25/night fee, max $100/stay, covers cleaning and wear/tear and will be added after booking. Undisclosed pets incur a $75/night charge and may face eviction. All pets must follow our pet policy below. PET POLICY: -Keep your furry companion close on-leash outdoors, and kindly clean up after them. -Never leave your pet unattended in the cabin unless in a crate. -Help us maintain the cabin's cleanliness by avoiding your pet on furniture. -After outdoor adventures, use our provided pet towels to clean off any dirt or mud before entering the cabin. CHILDREN: Subject to availability, we can offer a Pack N' Play, highchair, and/or some children books while your stay with us. Please let us know upon booking if this is something you require. Guest access Guests have access to their own private cabin and parking. Other things to note As our lodges are in a nature setting, bears, moose, deer, and other animals frequent our property often. We follow a strict policy whereas all of our guests must store and remove all potential attractants to avoid any negative interactions with these animals. There is a $200.00 fee added to anyone for violates this rule. Also, depending on the season, mosquitoes, spiders, and other insects may be common (we live amongst nature!). Our property is in close proximity to a train track, helicopter company, and saw mill, which may produce some noise.
