Description

Farringford Apartment Two is a spacious 2nd floor 3 bedroom apartment (sleeping up to 5), set in a beautiful historic 19th century Arts & Craft style house located in the spa town of Buxton. It is very close to the Pavilion Gardens and just a short walk to all the town has to offer. A perfect place to get away and create some memories in the Peak District with friends or family. There are 2 off-road parking spaces available for this apartment. The space Once inside the apartment there is a central hallway with coat hooks etc... A good sized living/kitchen/diner : The living area has two sofas, a tub chair, a 32" smart TV and the WiFi connection. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetière. The dining area has a table and 6 chairs. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and access to the small balcony which has 2 chairs and a coffee table. The twin bedroom has 2 x 3ft-wide beds (which can be joined to a create a super-king - if you would like this arrangement, please request this at least 1 week prior to your stay). The single bedroom has a 4ft-wide (small double) bed. There is a bathroom (shower over bath) with WC, and another separate shower room with a walk-in shower and a second WC. All bedlinen, towels and tea towels are provided. We supply washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, toilet rolls, and hand-soap, but please bring your own shower-gel/shampoo etc. We also provide a welcome tray with tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and a pint of milk (in the fridge) to help you settle in. A store cupboard off the central hallway can be used for storing luggage, and also has an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, airer and a vacuum cleaner that you are welcome to use. A travel cot and high chair can be supplied if needed - just let us know. Guest access Entry to the apartment is via the house main front door into a large communal entrance lobby, which guests are welcome to use either to store/leave coats and muddy boots and/or buggies, as a space to wait/gather, or even to play games (a table tennis table can be set up in this area on request). You then head up the wide main staircase to the 2nd floor, where you will find a dedicated lockable front door for Apartment Two. Other things to note Set in a beautiful location, it's just a short walk to the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton Opera House and the centre of town which boasts a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Buxton is centrally located so you have easy access to all the Peak District has to offer in terms of sights, walks and cycle trails. Alton Towers is about a 40 minute drive, & the Trafford Centre / Manchester is less than 1 hour by car.
