Elmsley Cottage: charm & spaciousness in Natchez

Embrace life in the Deep South in this spacious, tastefully appointed home which sleeps 6 adults comfortably and is located just a 5 minute walk from the shops and restaurants of downtown Natchez and the Mississippi River. Although centrally located, Elmsley Cottage is on a quiet street and the loudest thing you will hear is the clip-clop of the horse and carriage going to and from downtown. And, the patio opens onto a private driveway. The space Downstairs you will find the master bedroom and private bathroom suite, living room, dining room, full kitchen, and a guest bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom adjacent to the room. The master bedroom features a queen bed and the bath offers plenty of room for a relaxing soak. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, each with a queen bed and separate water closets that open into a shared shower and large bathtub. The kitchen is equipped with a gas range, oven, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer located in the kitchen. There's a Keurig, Mr. Coffee and French press for coffee. One thing to note: there is a handheld mixer, but not a blender. well-stocked for meal preparation. Pots, pans, cookie sheets, measuring cups - while we can't guarantee that every doo-dad is present, we prepare full meals in the house and believe you'll find it sufficient for most cooking. Most of your "everyday" spices are present, but take that with a grain of salt (see what I did?) and bring anything absolutely crucial for your needs. There are also cooking oils, etc. There is a grocery close to the house (Natchez Market #2)* for anything you require. *Natchez Market #1 is a hike - make sure you map yourself to Natchez Market #2. Guest access Guests enjoy the entire home which is 4 bedrooms, all with queen beds, the living room, dining room, kitchen, private patio and private driveway. Other things to note The house was listed on AirBnB and is now under new ownership hence there is a new listing, but it's noteworthy that the house enjoyed a 5 star ranking under the previous listing as it does now. The kitchen: The kitchen has a gas stove, oven, and microwave. There are dishes, utensils, pots and pans and most things you would find in a home kitchen. There is a Keurig, French press and regular coffee maker. The only item worth noting is that there is a handheld mixer, but no blender or counter top mixer.
