The space Everything you need… The villa is the perfect set-up for a couple or a solo traveler. Featuring a queen-sized bed with luxurious French linen, the interiors are inviting with natural timbers, sofas to fall asleep in and fresh botanicals from the native garden. We have books, games and movies to keep you entertained. The practicalities... The villa is equipped with everything you need including a two burner stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and multiple forms of coffee-making apparatus. We also provide the basics such as oil, salt & pepper and a selection of teas and coffee. We provide wifi. Guest access The fun stuff… Guests will have full private access to their villa and shared access to the surrounding land including the private bush walks around the property. The land and bushwalks are shared with the hosts. The driveway is shared with our hosts and neighbours. Other things to note Bush walks... Several private bush tracks wind around the property, including Riverlands’ very own ‘Kauri Trail’. Birdsong is rich with the forest home to many native birds including Kiwi, Kereru, Tui, Piwakawaka and Ruru. We provide a map and detailed instructions. Kayaks: With direct water access, the islands and nooks of the Ngunguru River are able to be explored by boat or paddle. You will have free access to the kayaks with the choice of a double or two singles. We provide life jackets.
