Guest access This large two story home was purchased in 2014 and renovations were completed in 2015 so that guests to the area could stay in comfort and convenience near Cooperstown, Oneonta, Gilbert Lake, and enjoy relaxing activities. Six bedrooms, 8 beds, accommodate 12, not including two large sleeper sofas and a cot. A completely updated kitchen with new stainless steel appliances allows for eating in the kitchen or just mingling or even working at the desk. The kitchen opens to a sunroom filled with light and comfortable colorful patio furniture. The dining room off the kitchen seats 12 at a large table, with room for more. The kids area on the second floor is designed for play while the parents are downstairs relaxing or watching a movie. Other things to note The house itself retains much of it's historical features. The hardwood floors were just refinished and are gorgeous. The molding and wood trim has been cleaned and painted. The children's rooms under the attic eaves are great for little ones and there is a large bedroom with a full size upstairs as well for supervising adults. The living room is spacious for a large group with couches cozy enough for napping or sitting with a book or a tablet.
