Adirondack Base Camp by Loon Lake and Gore Mt.!

Make great memories at this unique, rustic and family-friendly Adk base camp. This 1900 built, renovated barn is on 2.4 acres in walking distance to Loon Lake, 2 minute drive to the public beach and boat launch and a mere 20 minutes to Gore Ski Mountain! With trail heads right up the street, you can hike, bike, fish, hunt, ski, snowmobile, snowshoe, raft, kayak and tube, explore the region, R&R or sled on Dynamite Hill! 5 minutes off route 87, and 20 minutes from Lake George. The space The Barn has an open floor plan downstairs flowing from kitchen to living/dining area and one bathroom with newly renovated full bath/shower and a washer/dryer. There is a half step up to both the kitchen and the bathroom from the main floor. Upstairs there are also a half step from the staircase to the main floor and another half step to the loft bed area and the 2nd bedroom. Upstairs there is a dedicated office space overlooking the living room and an open loft with 2 twin beds, then 2 private bedrooms with two beds each (1 Queen with a twin and 2 full size beds). There are closets in each room, dresser and a wardrobe. Guest access The entire home/barn is private access to guests. Other things to note Please note that although there are towels available for guests these will have to be washed and dried prior to guest departure and the machine is small. Please consider bringing your own towels to take back to your home to launder. Please do not wash colored towels with the whites. The mattresses and pillows are fully encased with waterproof/bed bug free covers. Sheets are provided and on the beds already and cleaning service will wash them. Blankets are available and extra pillows. We allow pets but would like to limit it to one dog for an additional pet fee of $50. Please put this request under the number of guests planned for your stay to let me know up front. We have two kayaks, and a canoe we can rent for $20 a day per craft with the paddles and life vests for adults and children. Please message in advance if you would like to use these and have a way to get them ported to the public beach. Crossroads General Store has additional kayaks for rent.
