Well-appointed private bed and bathroom (shared with one other guest) in the center of it all. Minutes to LECOM, UMPC Hamot and St. Vincent's. Mid to long-term, working medical professional or medical student, females guests only. The space I am in a very convenient location. I am about 10 minutes from 90% of activities, colleges and hospitals. The house has hosted several students on rotation and residents. We are a perfect place to relax, study and get much needed rest. The house is fully remodeled (we are 90% complete with renovations!) with the latest trends and styling of the day and has a cozy zen feeling throughout. Ample street parking and back patio for guests to enjoy, complete with gas grill. The guest room has a queen sized bed, dresser, cube storage, a desk and desk chair. My house is at the center of it all. Close to Presque Isle (10 minutes), Frontier Park (a park with a running trail that also shows movies outside in August on Friday evenings - 5 minutes away), downtown (12 minutes) which has the library, art museum, dock with lookout tower, restaurants, shopping, theaters (stage, not movie), baseball, basketball and hockey games, concerts and comedians, and several microbreweries. If you travel a bit farther, you can explore the wineries along the wine trail or go search for beach glass. Uber rides to most of these places are between $5-8 (does not include surge pricing however). January, February and March are cold and snowy which is perfect for skiing and snowboarding. There are several locations to do both about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes away. When the spring and summer hits, it is non-stop. Every Thursday in the summer there is a "block party" where the city shuts down a block and hosts bands and concessions. There are bike nights and classic car shows every week as well. Starting in July we hold "8 Great Tuesdays," free concerts at the Liberty Park Amphitheater (5 minutes from the house). Beer on the Bay happens in July. In August there is Jazz Fest which is a 10 minute drive from the house. In the fall there is a weekend wine festival where several wineries from the region gather for taste testings. There is so much to do, I could never list it all. Guest access You will have the use of my home, including the kitchen, dining room, back yard, back patio (with table and chairs), washer/dryer if you need to do laundry. Wifi and several streaming services are also included. ***Guests will not have use or access to the garage.*** During your stay Guests who share the home will be a mix of medical professionals and students. One security camera is located over the driveway pointing out toward the street.
