The space Step into our unique Skylight Loft, a bright and airy two-story coach house apartment situated on the 3rd and 4th floors. Windows on all sides and a prominent skylight fill the space with natural light, creating a vibrant ambiance. The loft comfortably sleeps 4-5 guests. Key features include: Living Area: Impressive two-story ceilings, a striking exposed brick wall, and a bedroom area gracefully overlooking the living room. Kitchen: Updated with stainless steel appliances, perfect for preparing meals. Bathrooms: Modern master bathroom and renovated full bath with hardwood flooring on the upper level, plus a convenient half-bath on the lower level. Master Bedroom Suite: Located on the upper loft level, includes an en-suite bathroom and a dedicated desk area. Outdoor Spaces: Two private outdoor decks – one accessible from the loft bedroom and another on the main level. Furnishings: Stylish and comfortable furniture, updated in March 2023. The nearby Pulaski Park (1 block away) has a green space, a softball field, a dog park area, and a swimming pool. Please let me know the purpose of your visit when booking... FAQs 1. Do you allow EVENTS, PARTIES, or GATHERINGS? no, you must follow Chicago`s COVID guidelines and be respectful of neighbors. You will be charged $100/person per night for anyone who enters the unit who is NOT on the reservation. we do see this on our outdoor security cameras and neighbors report everything to us as well. 2. Locating the LOFT. How to find the unit? First Option (Alley Entrance ): When you turn to Noble st there will be an alley just before the speed bump. You will see the WHITE DOOR by the stairs ahead. Second Option (MAIN ENTRANCE WITH GATE): There are 2 buildings when you arrive at the address on the map. Unit is located in the rear building ( COACH HOUSE) when entering from CRYSTAL street. 3. PAYMENTS. Do I have to pay for everything now when I book? This is handled by Airbnb, so I am not involved in this part. I believe there are a couple of options, including paying in full or dividing it into two payments. They automatically block out the dates once payment has been arranged and at least the first installment has been paid. Pre-approvals and special offers last for 24 hours. During this time, the loft is not blocked out or reserved for you. 4. PREVIEWS & TOURS. Can I see the place before booking? No, there are no in-person tours available to see the place before booking. 5. What about NOISE & LIGHT? Unit located about 5 buildings away from 90/94 (Highway). There`s no loud noise from it, but there is slightly more background noise if you pay attention closely. Also, there is a skylight, so light is always coming in be aware. If you are sensitive to light, it may wake you up in the morning. If you are a sensitive person better to bring a sleeping mask. Also, the exposed brick wall "sheds" a small amount of sediment daily. This is not something most people notice, so we addressed it upfront. The unit will be clean before and after each stay, but be aware and don't be surprised during your stay. 6. Can I have PETS over? Unless it is a seeing-eye dog, NO. You must disclose pets, or there will be a $250 penalty per pet, plus you will be responsible for any damage caused. 7. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT. Can I check out late or leave my bags after the 12:00 pm check-out time? Sometimes we can accommodate luggage drop off before check-in once the prior guest has left, so 12 pm or later. We do our best to accommodate early or late check-in/out, but we are often booked back-to-back. Typically, early and late check-out is not possible. Late check-outs cut into our cleaning time, so please be courteous to our cleaner and leave on time. 8. OTHER FEES. What additional fees might I incur? This very rarely applies, and most guests are wonderful. So, no fees if you are not breaking the rules... and those of you who are reading all this are probably not the ones we`re concerned about. But thanks for your conscientiousness nonetheless. if you are feeling rebellious, here are the fees for getting caught ( we don't miss anything since we have multiple outdoor cameras ). - Tampering with the security camera - $500 - Smoking weed in the unit - $400 for breaking the law on our property and $200 for extra cleaning to get rid of the smell. - Smoking weed on the porch ( without a medical card) - $400 for breaking the law on our property - Additional hours of cleaning for damage caused - $50/hr - Hosting more guests than what you claim ( we typically send a reminder on this before your stay in case you put "1 guest" by accident) - $100 for the the extra liability you are causing us & time we spend coming to the property and/or documenting your lie + $100 per head for every guest beyond 4 guests. noise complaints by neighbors - $100 per violation/complaint (Management charges me a $100 fee for noise complaints. You will also be assessed a replacement fee for any property you damage in the unit which will vary based on the replacement cost of the item. Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire two-story loft apartment. Inside, you'll find a dining table and versatile tray tables in both the dining and living areas, ideal for meals or catching up on work. Please note, this home does not offer traditional "live" TV. Other things to note Please take note of these additional details for a comfortable stay: - Noise & Light: The unit is approximately five buildings away from the 90/94 highway. While there isn't loud noise, you may notice a slight background hum. Due to the prominent skylight, natural light is always present.
