Welcome to "The Dande Lakeside Cottage" , offering Lake views from each bedroom along with plenty of windows throughout, bringing the natural beauty of the outdoors-in. Offers an outdoor fire pit, private boat dock, boathouse and private lake access. The public boat launch is less than 1/2 mile away from our home so you may bring your own boat to enjoy all that Lake Juniper has to offer. If you don't have your own boat , no worries, we have a canoe, peddle boat and Kayaks available! The space Our home is a small Florida cottage with a very well organized and thoughtful floor plan, making the space of just over 1100 sq ft quite functional for 4 adults and 2 children. Sorry, but we do not accept bachelor's or bachelorette party bookings. Minimum age for a reservation is 25. Boathouse and boat dock: Our boathouse is private to our home, exclusively for guest use. You're more than welcome to bring your own boat and dock it here during your stay. We do not have a boat launch on our property however, the public boat launch is less than 1/2 mile from our home, making the access quite convenient. Please message in advance of placing your reservation with us, so we may confirm the ability to accommodate the size of your boat. **There are numerous trees and stumps throughout the lake - some are visible and many are not. Any boating should be done with extreme caution and at the boaters risk. Due to the trees and stumps throughout the lake, no jet skiing, tubing or any other boat related activities that will create waking/require open waters are permitted.** Bedrooms: Our master bedroom offers one king bed, two three drawer night stands, a wall mount storage rack to hang your clothes on and a private desk space. There's a 55" 4K Roku Smart TV along with stunning lake views! (sleeps up to 2 adults). Our queen bedroom offers a queen bed with a small three drawer chest inside of the reach-in closet. This room has a 43" 4K Roku Smart TV and lake views! (sleeps up to 2 adults). Our bunk room offers a twin bunk bed, a small walk-in closet, a 32" 4K Roku Smart TV along with stunning lake views! (sleeps up to two children, not for adults). **We provide a travel sized pack'n'play for anyone traveling with a toddler needing special sleeping accommodations. ** **All TV's offer Roku Streaming Services and your ability to connect to your streaming app of choice, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. No cable provided throughout our home, only high speed WIFI ** AC / Heat Each bedroom offers an private mini-split to ensure you're able to control the temperature of your own space, along with one mini-split for the Living/Kitchen/Dining and one for the bathroom; with a total of 5 mini-splits installed throughout the home. They are quiet and quite convenient to have, especially for those that enjoy sleeping with different temps. Bed Linens Provided: Sheets, pillows and cases, duvet covers and inserts are provided during your stay to ensure all you have to bring are your vacation clothes and gear. Living Area: Our living area provides seating for up to five adults and two children and a fully equipped bar cabinet ready for you to bring your wine and alcohol of choice. Within our living area we provide a 70" 4K Roku Smart TV. Dining Area: Our dining area offers seating for 4 adults and 2 children at the table along with 2 additional spaces and the kitchen peninsula and seating for a toddler with the high chair we provide. Kitchen: The kitchen comes fully equipped to ensure that dining-in while on vacation feels as though you're cooking the you would in your own kitchen. We offer a Counter depth quad door refrigerator/freezer, a full sized glass top electric range/oven, a full sized dishwasher along with a farmhouse stainless steel sink. Even though our footprint is small, we made sure to utilize the space wisely within our home. We also provide starter kitchen amenities. Laundry: The laundry room is located next to the kitchen making it an ideal location to use as a combined laundry/pantry to ensure there is ample space to store your food and beverages. There is a compact washer and dryer, vacuum, steam mop along with bench seating and hooke to neatly store your jackets and shoes. (We also provide started laundry amenities). Bathroom: Our full bathroom offers a tub/shower, single sink vanity, endless hot water (tankless water heater) blow dryer, a rain shower head and toilet. Bath towels, washcloths, hand towels and 1 bath mat are provided for your stay. All bath linens are stored in the laundry room. We offer a propane grill (guest is responsible for the propane refills, we provide the tank). 2 picnic tables that offer searing for up to 8 guests, an outdoor fire pit overlooking the Lake along with lounge seating inside the boathouse, to take in the stunning lake views. **One 3 person Canoe, one 4 person peddle boat and two single person kayaks are provided, making this an ideal vacation destination location for a single family of two couples.** SAFTEY NOTICE: **This is Florida and this body of water is a 600 acre spring fed lake. Even though I have not encountered or have seen alligators, this does not mean they are not located within the lake here. Please anticipate there will be Alligators, Snakes, Turtles, Birds, Fish and any other wildlife. This means this lake is not meant for swimming. Do not enter the lake to swim, do not leave children and minors nor pets unattended at any point in time. Please when using our boats, you wear the provided life vests and ensure you inspect every boat to ensure they are SAFE prior to taking out on the water. Do not take any boat out without at least one paddle/oar, to ensure you will not be stranded on the water. Please do not party on our boats, they are for responsible use to enjoy our lake. We will not be held responsible for Guest Negligence and Guest will Waive Liability to Owner in the event of an accident. ** Liability: Please inquire for more details. Guest Access: You'll have access to the main cottage, fire pit, grill area, boathouse and dock during your stay. The tiny house is unoccupied and not for guest use at this time.
