The Green Line CTA "L" train is only 3 blocks away and departs every 10 minutes. Metra shares a station and departs once an hour. Freight trains also pass by. You will hear these trains train throughout the night. Most people are not disturbed by this sound. If you are a light sleeper I recommend earplugs for sleeping. Taxi from the Airport, around $80. Neighborhood parking is limited. If you have a vehicle please read parking instructions. Free for the first 3 nights then $7 a night. The space This property is for rent fully furnished for 2400 a month. Guest access Full access to the apartments back porch and back yard. Taxi is the best way to arrive from the airport. Should be around $80 and is well worth it . You can also arrive by Uber if you prefer. Parking is very difficult in front of the apartment. I try to greet all my guests in person, but the self check-in is easy. If you need a car for your trip you can rent a car after you arrive. If you are driving in from a nearby state you can park if front of the building from 10am-10pm. At night you have to move your vehicle one block south. FREE On Street Parking 1 block south for the first 3 nights. Only $7 a night after that If you have a vehicle I will most likely greet you upon arrival and show you where to park. If you arrive by taxi just let yourself in and start enjoying your vacation. I try to greet all my guests either upon arrival or departure.. Overnight parking is available through the village of Oak Park. you can park your vehicle down the street one block away.
