Take the kids for a ride on the historic Sugar Pine Railroad or play in the creek that runs through the property. Relax on the wrap-around porch with the fresh smell of redwoods all around. Light a cozy fire while the snow piles up outside.Whatever your mood, you'll enjoy our sweet mountain home! It's close enough to everything for you to do just about anything. The space The cabin is located in the quaint neighborhood of Sugarpine on the sight of a historic lumber mill . The cabin is in close proximity to both nature and restaurants. 8 miles from Yosemite's South Gate, 20 miles to Yosemite's historic village of Wawona (stagecoach rides, golf, dining, pioneer history center, horseback rides, etc.). Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to Yosemite Valley, depending on traffic. 3 miles to Sugar Pine Railroad. 10 miles to the Giant Sequoias at Mariposa Grove. 11 miles to beautiful Bass Lake (boating,swimming, fishing and the site of filming for the classic movie--The Great Outdoors!!! 9 miles to Oakhurst (many restaurants,grocery stores, art galleries, etc.) During season you can catch a melodrama play at Golden Chain Theater. 5 miles to Nelder Grove. At 4500 elevation, our evenings are cool reprieve from summer heat, and filled with the soothing sound of the creek, frogs, and crickets (i.e., bring a sweatshirt or light jacket). We are in the mountains and we have bugs and spiders Guest access Cabin has 3 bedrooms , Living room , Kitchen and dinning room. first bedroom has a King size bed and a trundle bed. 2nd bedroom has a queen and a trundle bed. 3rd bedrooms has a King bed and bathroom . Other things to note Smoking is prohibited on the property and in the surrounding community due to high fire risk. You must use stairs to access the home.
