Double room with television, wi-fi and personal access to a wide terrace. The space We offer a double room, wi-fi connection and personal access to a wide terrace. The terrace is furnished with plants, a wooden chaise-longue and a table for four people that during spring and summer you can use to have dinner or chill out in open air. The flat is located in a small street and in quiet neighborhood, at the 4th and last floor (no elevator, just stairs) of a building built in the sixties. The house is near one of the most typical neighborhood of Milan: in just 10/15 minutes by foot (or with a bus) you can reach the Navigli area, heart of the milanese night life, full of typical restaurant and pubs someone also with live music, but where you can also find shops for art, fashion, etc. The house is also near the neighborhood of via Tortona and via Savona the well known "Quadrilatero della Moda" (just 15 minutes by foot or with a bus), where the major design and fashion events are held, like “Fuorisalone del Mobile” during the design week in April and the famous “Fashion Week”. How to reach our house - public transport: Basically wherever you are in the city, you can catch the Metropolitana (“Metropolitana” is the italian word for subway), line 2 (“M2” green line), direction “Assago” or “Abbiategrasso”. You can catch the green line (M2) in every main railway station: Stazione Centrale (where stops the bus from Orio al Serio Airport), Stazione P.ta Garibaldi or Stazione Cadorna. Then, get out the subway at “P.ta Genova” station and go to the bus stop that you find right out of the subway. There you can take line 47 (bus, direction: "Quartiere Ludovico il Moro") and get off after about 11 stops, at the "Via Biella, Via Modica" stop (less than 100m from home). Or you can take line 74 (bus, direction: "Famagosta M2") and get off after about 12 stops, at the "Via S. Rita, Via Bari" stop (less than 100m from home). Near the house it’s easy to find free parking place if you come here by car. Guest access The room is for your use only. The rest of the house (bathroom, kitchen and living room) is shared with the two of us (Riccardo e Simona). In the flat there is one bathroom (shared with the two owners Simona e Riccardo). The kitchen has everything you could need to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, included a dish washer, a microwave owen, pans and cooking tools. We provide olive oil, salt, vinegar, spices, tea, coffee for our guest. We provide to our guest beddings, towels, but also soap, shampoo and tooth paste , so if you want to travel weightless you only need to bring with you your clothes and your toothbrush :). If you need to wash your clothes you can use the washing machine (soap and softener are already here for you). During your stay Absolute freedom! Love chatting? Easy! We like good food and good wine. We also like to cook (Simona is a great cook) and sometimes we like to enjoy a good dinner with our guests and know each other. Do you hate time wasters and prefer quiet atmosphere? Don’t worry, we are very quiet and respectful. For us your comfort is a priority: if you want you can seal yourself in your room with terrace :) During the week, we usually get out for work at 9.00am and we come back about 8.30pm. When we are not at home, you can always communicate with us by phone or via Whatsapp o Viber if you need help or information.
