Rustic cabin on tiny lake! Relax on the screened porch or shady deck of this 90 year old one room cabin on the edge of a tiny mountain spring-fed lake nestled in a mountain cove. The cabin consists of one large room with 1 queen bed, 1 twin bunk, sofa, and table and chairs. There is a small bathroom with a shower and a tiny kitchen with a refrigerator, 2 burner hot plate, convection toaster oven, and a coffee pot. Guests can really get away from it all if they choose to. The space This charming little cabin sits on the edge of spring-fed mountain lake under the trees and across the lake from your hosts’ home. This secluded spot is 2 miles from downtown Black Mountain and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Guest access Guests are welcome to come to the main house to use Wi-Fi , to use the fire pit, and to use the lake for relaxation and swimming. There are no fish in the lake. Other things to note Due to the COVID-19 virus, we want to assure our guests of any concerns they may have. First, our cabin is a stand alone property, 100 yards across our small pond from our home. The cabin is accessed by separate driveway. Second, we do clean with GREEN cleaning products, We then disinfect the whole cabin with CDC recommended products. (Lysol) We use masks and gloves when cleaning. Third, we bring used dishes, silverware, etc back to our home to run in our dishwasher. Bedding and towels are always washed and dried without any of our personal belongings. Again we use gloves and masks while handling clean bedding and kitchenware when restocking the cabin. We will not enter the cabin unless invited. If so we will keep a distance and wear protective gloves and masks. If there any concerns not covered here, please do not hesitate to contact us.
