Captain'sQuarters-Cozy 4 bedroom Cabin with Charm

You will love this charming cabin that was built by the High Rock BassMaster/The Captain-my dad! There have been "many" updates without losing the original charm of the cabin. The history of High Rock Lake shines through with Cyprus Garden Waterskis and memorabilia from the last 50 years of ownership mounted within the cabin. Great living space inside and out with two beautiful decks along with a "sand boat" overlooking the lake. A gas fireplace adds "extra cozy" to the family room. The space You will have the whole property to yourself. The concrete boat ramp/walkway offers easy access to the water. At "full pond" we have "at least" 10 feet at the end of the dock. Our pier offers cleats for boats and a ladder for convenience. There are four bedrooms, three of which include a trundle which is not listed in the bed count. Three bedrooms offer a queen/extra long twin bunk and an extra long twin trundle. The mattresses are of the highest quality for a good night's sleep. Each bedroom window is equipped with blackout shades and sound machines are by each bed. A pack and play is available for use as needed. Both bathrooms have bath tubs and showers. LOCATION of this Lexington cabin is the best. Captain's Quarters is -45 minutes from Charlotte Airport -15 minutes from Historic downtown Lexington -15 minutes from Historic downtown Salisbury -30 minutes from Winston-Salem -45 minutes from Greensboro- -1.5 hours from Raleigh Airport There are several vineyards close by including Childress Vineyards which is 12 miles away. Dan Nicholas Park which has a carousel, small zoo, playground, nature center, and a small train is 25 minutes away. Other things to note Outside Fun-The large water mat is available in warmer months and we have great water. Kayaks will be on the boat ramp. We have lifejackets in a storage bin beside the boathouse. A sand boat within a fenced in yard is available for our younger guests. Corn Hole Boards are available with an excellent corn hole court. Our " Large Stage" is a favorite with comfortable deck furniture, umbrellas, and in "warmer months" beautiful potted flowers. Our deck offers two picnic tables with umbrellas. Large Black Stone Grill Large OnDeck Pine Wood Cooler Inside Kitchen-Adjustable Bar Stools/ Toaster/Blender/ Hot Air Fryer/Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker and Keurig/Paper Plates and Plastic Utensils are provided; however, pottery and metal utensils are in cabinets, Cuisinart cookware, granite countertops with stainless appliances. Storage containers, salt, pepper, oils, and some spices are located in the cabinets. Our favorite is the beautiful Amish Game Table which can be used for checkers, chess, or eating a meal. Behind the table is an elevated new "heat producing" gas fireplace. TV and WIFI- Remote is under the TV on a shelf. We have YouTube TV, you may use our service or your own if wanted. Spectrum provides our wifi. There are also TV's in the primary bedroom and Bedroom 4. Towels and Linens will be located on beds and vanities. Hand soaps, shampoos, and body wash are available in each bath. We have worked hard to make Captain's Quarters a truly wonderful place. We hope that you have a 5-star experience!
