The Whitehouse, Five Rocks-Byfield National Park

Wake up in this totally off-grid beach house, and enjoy your morning coffee, with stunning ocean views. The White House is a 2 story self contained beach house, located at Five Rocks, surrounded by Byfield National Park. Please note 4x4 access only to this property. Upstairs contains 2 bedrooms and 2 sleepouts, with a wrap around verandah, to take in the ocean and hinterland views. Downstairs is the basic but well equipped kitchen and dining area, with detached shower cubicle. The space Upstairs is all living quarters, with 2 x large bedrooms and 2 sleepouts flowing to an open style living area and large verandah, to take in the ocean and hinterland views. Access upstairs is via external stairs. Downstairs, is dining, kitchen, toilet and detached shower cubicle. A large dining table is located here, with a bbq located on the verandah undercover. A small fire pit is at the front of the property for those crisp winter nights. Fire wood not supplied. Please note: we only supply beds for 11 people. If your booking has more then this, you will need to bring swags, mattress etc. Guest access Entire house, bar 1 bedroom. Other things to note Please Note, the White House is accessable only with 4 wheel drive. It is a relatively simple drive, but 4x4 is necessary none the less. The property is completely off grid which means all power and water comes from the sky. While we don’t anticipate any shortages of water or power, please use sparingly. Turn lights and fans off when not in use. All linen including sheets, blankets, pillows and towels MUST be brought in with guests. There are 4x queen and 3 x single beds. If your booking has more than 11 people, guests will need to bring a swag or mattress etc. No laundry facilities available. Humpback whales are often spotted passing the area. Best times for spotting these gentle giants are July -September. Please note, the closest convenience store is located in byfield, which is a 45 minute drive from the white house. PLEASE NOTE: we do not charge cleaning fees, and as such, it is an expectation that the house is left clean on departure. I.e all dishes are cleaned and put away, the house is swept/ mopped, and the bbq and oven both left cleaned and Fridge cleaned out. Mop and bucket and brooms are in the external lockup downstairs. There is also a 10c can/bottle collection bin if you choose to use. All other rubbish must be removed from the property on departure.
