"Casa Lago" is steps from the lake and surrounded by nature, this woodland cottage comes with use of a beach and dock. Enjoy swimming and sunshine along with the amenities of the historic Long Point community including walking trails, tennis courts, horseshoe and a playground. Children will love taking the "secret path" through the forest to the playground! The space The home is simple and comfortable with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a spacious eat-in kitchen, living area, and screened in porch. Enjoy views of the lush forest from every room. The enclosed porch is ideal for evening drinks, unwinding with a puzzle, or entertaining the kiddos with provided toys and craft supplies. If you'd like to explore Vermont, this is an ideal jumping off point. A twenty minute drive from the village of Vergennes and its cute shops and delicious cafes, 10 minutes from Mount Philo hiking trails and the best views in the state, and 35 minutes from the vibrant arts and dining scenes of Burlington and Middlebury. Breweries and farm stands are sprinkled throughout the entire area! Important notes: 1) While very close to the water (less than 1 minute walk), Casa Lago does not have a direct lake view. 2) we are a dog friendly rental but only allow one doggie visitor at a time as the space isn’t suited for multiple dogs. 3) This is a seasonal, uninsulated cabin so can be chilly in early spring or fall months.
