With over 3,000 sq ft of living space and two spacious decks, there is plenty of room for the whole family. Take in the relaxing nature sounds from one of our two private decks, admire the peaceful natural surroundings in one of our porch swings, lounge in our cozy outdoor seating area, or unwind in our private and spacious hot tub. The cabin has gorgeous designer touches throughout and everything you need to make your stay in the Great Smoky Mountains an unforgettable experience! If you are looking for a peaceful retreat to disconnect from busy everyday life, Smoky Woodside Haven is the perfect space to just kick back and relax! GENERAL: - For your safety, the cabin has fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms which are actively monitored by ADT. - The cabin features an eco-friendly A/C thermostat and Ring Floodlight security (in front driveway area). - Satellite Wi-Fi is available so you can stay connected during your stay in the mountains (*Please note that since the cabin is located in the mountains, satellite internet may at times be slower than cable internet and harsh weather conditions may impact connectivity and/or speed). LIVING/DINING AREA (LOCATED ON MAIN LEVEL): - Brand new spacious sectional sofa with queen size sleeper. - Watch your favorite streaming service (guest logs into their own services) on the large ROKU TV located in the living room. - From November through April, guests may cozy up by the warm gas fireplace. - Spacious dining table with seating for 10 guests to enjoy dinner together. - Kitchen island features additional seating for 2 guests. - Stylish high-end barware for guests to enjoy their favorite cocktails and beautiful serveware for guests looking to have a nice dinner or celebrate special occasions. KITCHEN (LOCATED ON MAIN LEVEL): - Beautiful kitchen with brand new granite counter tops and island. Kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, new dishwasher and microwave. - Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious meal and serve in style - new dining plates and utensils, pans and pots, large crockpot, blender, toaster, and coffee station with a Keurig K-Duo Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker. MASTER BEDROOMS/BATHROOM (LOCATED ON ALL 3 LEVELS): - 4 tastefully decorated Master Suites - 2 Bedrooms feature king size beds and 2 bedrooms feature queen size beds. All bedrooms have brand new mattresses. - Bedrooms feature freshly laundered linens and towels as well as new bedspreads. - Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Three of the master bedrooms have an en suite bath and the fourth master bedroom which is situated in the private upstairs loft area has its own private bath. There is a half bath on the main level for guests to use. - Bedrooms are equipped with ROKU TV to watch your favorite streaming service (guest logs into their own services). - Guests will be provided with starting amounts of toilet paper, bath soap, a roll of paper towel, a garbage bag, dish soap and a dishwasher pod. Guests will be responsible for providing their own after the initial amounts are used up. We advise guests to bring their own toiletries. GAMEROOM/BUNK ROOM (LOCATED ON LOWER LEVEL): - Spacious game room/bunk room featuring a pool table, high top seating, and arcade games the entire family can enjoy. - This room also features a full over full bunk bed which is great for families who need extra sleeping space. - Game room has a large ROKU TV where guests may watch their favorite streaming service (guest logs into their own services). OUTDOOR SPACES: - Two private decks with cafe string lights to enjoy the magical forest ambiance. - Upper level deck is accessed from the main level and has a cozy outdoor dining/lounging area and an outdoor gas BBQ grill. - Lower level deck is accessed from the game/bunk room and has a large private hot tub and comfy porch swing. - IMPORTANT: Enforced quiet hours! If you are looking to party, this is NOT the cabin for you. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00pm through 8:00am If you plan to party do NOT book this cabin. HOT TUB/JACUZZI BATHTUB RULES: - No children under the age of 18 are permitted in the hot tub or any of the jacuzzi bathtubs in the cabin at any time without adult supervision. - Please remember there is a certain health risk associated with the use of hot tubs and when in doubt, please consult a medical professional. - Use the hot tub and jacuzzi bathtub at your own risk. - For your safety, our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in the hot tub prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. - Please do NOT stand on the hot tub cover as damage to the cover may result in a $350 incidental charge for repair or replacement. - When hot tub is not in use, leave the cover on at ALL times so the hot tub will stay warm. - Please do NOT use glassware in the hot tub. GETTING TO CABIN/PARKING: - The cabin is on a mountain so roads may be windy and steep at times. If you are not used to mountain driving, the neighboring roads may be intimidating the first time, but by the second time you will be a pro! - Flat driveway with ample parking space to comfortably fit 4+ vehicles. - As with any other mountain cabin, a 4WD or AWD may be necessary in the winter months if there is snow and ice on the roads (although snow and ice are not common in the area). In the summertime, any vehicle will work just fine. GUEST ACCESS: Cabin has an electronic keypad with custom guest entry codes. Guests will be provided the code 48 hours prior to check in. CHECK IN/OUT: Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot offer early check-ins or late departures. This helps ensure our cleaners can have everything deep cleaned and sanitized for all guests. HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the cabin, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabin and a fee may be assessed if the cleaners note an item is missing. Before you leave the cabin, we kindly ask that you follow departure instructions provided prior to check out. FIREPLACE: The fireplace is a non-vented propane gas log fired firebox. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace. Fireplaces are turned off from May 1 to October 1. They are not operational during this time of the year. IMPORTANT! Do NOT touch the fireplace! To turn on the fireplace, turn the knob on the fireplace. If you touch the buttons located within the fireplace, we will have to pass on the $150 maintenance charge to the guest. *** PILOT LIGHT ON THE FIREPLACE MUST STAY ON AT ALL TIMES, DO NOT TURN IT OFF! *** CABIN WATER & SEPTIC: The cabin is on a well and septic system. We suggest bringing bottled water to drink during your stay. IMPORTANT! As the cabin is on a septic system, toilets are for toilet paper ONLY. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that any material has been improperly flushed which resulted in the clogging of the septic system, you may be charged for damages which can be up to but not limited to $1,000. ANIMALS IN SURROUNDING AREAS: Please note there are critters, bugs, and bears in the area and you might encounter some unwelcome guests. To help avoid this, please keep doors and windows closed as much as possible. We have regular pest control so you may encounter some critters that didn’t make it. Rest assured, we can have our pest control company out there if there are any issues. If you encounter a bear, please keep a safe distance and do NOT attempt to feed or approach them. Depending on the season, there may also be carpenter bees in the area; however, generally if left alone carpenter bees will not bother you. TRASH: If you need to remove trash from the cabin, please make sure to put it inside the cans in the bear-proof container located directly in the driveway and please keep containers closed at all times. Please do NOT leave trash anywhere outside the cabin other than in the bear-proof containers. WEATHER & UNEXPECTED CIRCUMSTANCES: No refunds will be given for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. We highly recommend travel insurance to help in case you need to cancel outside our cancellation policy window. INCIDENTAL DAMAGES: Any damage to any items in the cabin including but not limited to couches, chairs, tables, TV’s, pool table, hot tub, beds, sheets, towels, pillows, etc., are the sole responsibility of the renter. Every item will be inspected before arrival and after departure. If a guest causes any damage, please notify the owners immediately. Incidental damages will be charged to the renter. It is our home. Please treat it as if it were your own! Failure to comply with the above rules will result in non-return of security deposit and possible additional charges. Booking through Airbnb assigns your consent to all terms listed under "House Rules." BOOKING REQUIREMENTS/RULES: - Guests must be 25 or older to book the cabin. - Upon booking the reservation, guests have 48 hours to cancel penalty free. - Pets are NOT allowed. You may be fined an additional pet cleaning fee or asked to leave without a refund if we discover that a pet was brought into the property. Pet cleaning fees start at $500. - This is a smoke free cabin. Smoking is NOT allowed and Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted. - The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises. - The owners are not responsible for the loss of the guest’s personal belongings or valuables. - Keep the property and all furnishings in good order, removing any items from the cabin including living and kitchen furnishings is not permitted and may result in additional charges. - By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
