Furnished with pieces that make this home feel cozy, including an old-school style gas stove, this cottage is the perfect place to curl up on the couch with a good book or watch a binge-worthy Netflix show. The ~500 sq. ft guest cottage is fully-equipped with a brand new kitchenette, a newly renovated bathroom, brand new floors throughout, and a new heater in the bedroom. We do live in the home in front so we will likely be on the property during your stay. We may occasionally cross paths but we try to stay out of your way. You access the cottage by walking up our paved driveway, through the driveway gate, past our house, to the detached cottage . Please note: We have a friendly large black dog who you may also cross paths with or see in the backyard or with us coming and going in the driveway. The fence/gate keeps her out of your space but you may see or hear her when you arrive or leave. Please ask us if you need anything during your stay. Other things to note Accommodates 1-2 people: a couple or 2 people who do not mind sharing a queen bed. Please note: while children are welcomed, this house is not child-proof. Please ensure they are under your supervision during the entire stay. One dog is welcome on a case by case basis, however we cannot have cats in the cottage. Please check with us before booking with a dog. Please note we charge a pet fee for additional cleaning. Dogs not allowed on furniture. There is a laundromat 1.5 blocks away.
