Description

You’ll have a private bedroom (double bed) in a centrally located but quiet flat in Bloomsbury. The flat is on the seventh floor (there’s a lift) and has two bedrooms, a kitchen, shared bathroom, large sitting room and hallway which doubles as a dining room. It’s a short walk from supermarkets, transport links, parks and museums (including my favourite hidden gem - the Wellcome Collection). The space The bedroom The room is bright and spacious, with a very comfy double bed. There’s enough storage space for 1-2 suitcases’ worth of stuff. There’s also a full length mirror, a chair, a bin, a wardrobe and drawers. The bedroom looks out over an internal courtyard so it’s wonderfully quiet for its location in the heart of London. The kitchen The kitchen is compact but packed with everything you might need, including: - pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc; - a dishwasher and washing machine; - a state-of-the-art kettle for all your tea needs (plus ample supply of tea); - an espresso machine; - pantry basics such as olive oil, salt, flour, herbs and spices; - all the necessary kitchen gadgets for culinary experimentation (blender, ice cream machine, dehydrator, sous vide machine, mixer, blender and more); and - a mini windowsill herb garden, which usually has some basil/mint/coriander/thyme (depending on how quickly they get eaten). The sitting room The sitting room has two sofas and a projector (which links up to your phone through Netflix, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, and more), so it’s perfect for movie nights. Our book collection is a good illustration of some of our hobbies, and has lots of books on cooking, travel, art, graphic design, languages, history and cocktails. I’ve also got a decent home bar to practice what I’ve learned in the cocktail books. There’s also whole range of board games tucked away in the cupboard and a mini Super Nintendo hooked up to the projector for all your Mario Kart needs. Other things to note We have all the things you might need: a dishwasher, washing machine, towels, bed linen, ironing board and iron, clothes drying rack. You’re welcome to share our shampoo / conditioner / toothpaste. If you have any more questions, just get in touch.
