The lane to the cabin is steep and in the winter if there is snow in the forecast we recommend a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle . The lane is graveled and has speed bumps ,so go slow, We also recommend checking local forecast before you leave and also entering the address in your GPS before you leave as there is no cell service in the area and only wi fi service when you get to the cabin Easy Access Parking. Just pull right up to the cabin. Electronic Lock w/ passcode which will be provided the day of your stay. Not available in person, but available by phone and can be available in person if necessary. You can park right beside the cabin , It is a dirt road, little steep with speed bumps, so go slow, but easy to get up even with a small car unless it snowed may need 4x4. We have a beautiful, cabin near the George Washington National Forest and Lost River State Park, which means you can hike, hunt, bike, and do anything else the National Forest and Park has to offer. Just south east is Rawley Springs a place where many go for other outdoor activities including Off-Roading trails for 4x4 Vehicles. A few minutes down the road is the infamous Fulks Run Grocery store home to Turner Hams! Tons of Wineries within 30-45 minutes away. Over the mountain and North is Bryce Resort, a ski and outdoor resort destination. Other nearby attractions include; Lost River State Park: Bryce Resort: Lake Laura: New Market Battlefield: Rawley Springs (For Off-Road Adventures): Less than 30-minutes UPCOMING: A nearby rail to trail (for cyclists) that will take you from the town of Broadway to Front Royal, an axe throwing location & Distillery (near Broadway). On your way to the site, you can stop at the local Liberty gas station (less than 10 minutes away) and pick up firewood or anything else you might need! Then, you can just drive right up to the site and park your vehicle! Inside the cabin contains board games and books for kids. The site contains almost anything you can think of in case you forgot to pack something! Toiletries, sanitizer, water, coffee, all provided. Fall asleep to pure mountain quietness and fresh air.
