Welcome to Viewpoint STR, your home away from home! Tucked away in the corner of Des Moines, enjoy the spectacular views of the sound with your morning coffee... or night cap watching the sunset. We are just few minutes from Redondo Beach, Des Moines Marina and Dash Point Park. We recognize that families come in all shapes and sizes, and hope to make your stay as comfortable as possible 😊 The space Come stay at our modern home with a lovely Puget Sound view! Watch epic sunsets as the ships pass or catch a sunrise with your morning coffee. Sit back and take in the beauty and calmness of living right by the water. MAIN FLOOR features a stunning view with full deck with ample space, motorized solar shades, living room, dining room and kitchen. Couch turns into a pull out bed. Blankets and throws are available on the ladder blanket holder by the fireplace. Dual heater/fan Dyson located next to fireplace. LIVING ROOM has a big window with a view, a pullout sleeper couch, a gas fireplace, and a smart TV. DINING ROOM has a 6 seater dining table + a high chair, enjoy your water view while dining. KITCHEN has the stove facing a window with a view to enjoy the view while cooking. We have a full-size refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishes and flatware that you may use. UPPER LEVEL features two bedrooms with windows with a view and both have access to the upper deck. Upper deck has 4 comfy beach chairs. BEDROOMS have 2 queen size beds (pull out bed in the living room). We use comfortable linens, beds sheets and bath towels. Extra blankets and pillows are located in each bedroom closet. We provide extra sheets and towels in the closet in the bathroom. Baby playard, portable folding bed & dog bed are located in the master closet. BATHROOMS include a powder room on the main level. Upper bathroom has a standing shower and washer/ dryer. Stocked with our in-house amenity line, fresh towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, toiletries, hair dryer and make up remover wipes. OUTDOOR includes a private patio with a pond and waterfall. Furnished deck, 5 seater outdoor furniture with table gas fireplace - a perfect place to indulge your morning coffee, read your favorite books, step back, take a deep breath and enjoy the relaxing meditation water sounds. 6 seater hot tub is available year round. Automated pathway lights and string lights in the backyard and side of home. Dynatrap Insect Trap and Weber Grill hooked in gas line make your grilling days comfortable, and a caddy full of grill equipment is located in the main level cabinet. GARAGE is fully insulated with natural gas heat, large pool table, and a pull out sleeper couch. Crab pot available for crab boil. Carbon monoxide detector is plugged in for your safety (pls do not remove). PARKING includes 3 Driveway parking spots + 1 street parking. Please note parking is limited. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home except the storage room in the garage. Storage room will be kept locked. Other things to note FAQ: Only one dog is allowed with advance notice (pet fee/deposit will apply). Exceptions can occasionally be made, please reach out for any inquiries. Front door is located at the back of the house. 4 exterior security cameras (2 front cameras and one at the backyard) + camera doorbell are installed for everyone’s safety. Exterior lights are photocell operated, and left on at all times. Absolutely NO parties. Small gatherings of family or friends may be agreed upon with owners, please feel free to reach out to ask in advance. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and must be adhered to in respect for our neighbors, regardless of day of the week or holiday, as this is a quiet neighborhood. Safety: A First Aid kit can be found in the main level closet. Fire extinguisher can be found in the garage. Never leave your kids unattended near and in hot tub and decks. ***Garbage day is on Tuesday. Guests must be willing to assist with the rolling trash bins in or out if reservation dates are on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.
