Far From Retreat/Animal Sanctuary has a remote rural location in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Pen-y-Fan is in walking distance. Quiet, peaceful, reservoir view and it’s own garden, hammock, campfire, decking. Surrounded by miniature horses and alpacas. A unique magical location to create family memories. The space Mini corner is a self contained property, in a secluded, private location on the farm. Two double bedrooms, please note they are small. Fully equipped kitchen. Lounge and a shower room with a powerful shower, toilet and sink. Double glazed windows, Central heating through out. Great winter get away. It is very warm and cosy. (please note the oven is very slow as it is LPG, hob and grill are normal) Guest access Private Outside Garden wrapping around the property - there is an L shaped decking with a dinning area and a gas BBQ. The rest of the garden is wild grass land. Please note it is uneven land. There is a hammock looking out over the view and a camp fire with cooking tri pod and rustic seating for family evenings under our night sky reserve. The stars are incredible. There’s also a shed for walking boots and so on. Please be aware the place is not very big, but has everything you need for your getaway and some unforgettable views. Hot tub and animals experiences available at extra cost please read on. Other things to note OPTIONAL EXTRAS ANIMAL EXPERIENCES - Prices below are per property, not per person. By staying with us and booking the experience privately the reduced price will apply. Meet and Greet the Animals - £35 (normally £45) Aimed at children under 7 years of age. Morning with the Animal - £55 (Normally £65) Aimed at adults and interested children over 7. Please get in contact for more information on any of the above. HOT TUB - £45 a day. Hired out by the day, giving you private access to the hot tub area all day and evening. Please book in advance, it gets booked up quickly. Sit back under the stars and relax in the warmth and the bubbles of the hot tub. We are a night sky reserve one of the few in the country and we wanted a way for you to truely enjoy and take in the moment. By day there is stunning reservoir view to admire. Why not add this on to your romantic getaway. If you hire the hot tub for the day you will get private use of the hot tub and its decking area all day. There is a large picnic table and benches over looking the reservoir with a fire pit and all you need to make s'mores, logs, kindling and tea lights to set the scene. There is also a gas fired pizza oven for you to make the most of the evening. Please be aware that cancellation of your hot tub booking can be no later than eight weeks before. The hot tub can be used in the rain and there is a large parasol that pulls over the hot tub to keep the rain off.
