Home away from home, on the Fernleigh track

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun, entertainment, exercise and relaxing. Situated on the Fernleigh track, the home is surrounded by trees and greenery, but located only 5 minutes walk to Westfield Kotara and 10 minutes drive to the beach. An entertainers dream, the open plan living area opens out onto the deck and stunning views over Blackbutt. Not to mention the pool! Glenrock reserve is 1km up the track. Run, ride, climb to your hearts content. The space The 2 storey home with 3 generous sized bedrooms. One with ensuite, it’s own kitchenette and bifold doors leading out onto a courtyard and pool. The open plan kitchen, diner and lounge open out onto a large deck with stunning views of the hills. Ample seating and a BBQ makes it perfect for entertaining. Outdoor heaters keep you snuggly warm on the cooler summer nights. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, with an infamous Indestruct Sleeping Duck frame and mattress. It guarantees a good nights sleep. It has a large TV and ample wardrobe space. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds, and toys to keep your little (and not so little) ones busy. Bedroom 3 has a comfy queen size bed, TV, and with a quick slide of the bifold doors, opens out on to the courtyard and pool. The ensuite bathroom has a luxury spa feel and is prepped to help you reach your ultimate relaxation level. Pop your favourite tipple and some goodies on the bath board, light some candles and let your mind wander as you relax back into the exquisite bath pillow. The front lounge has a gas fire and comfy reading chairs and a bookshelf stacked full of board games, jigsaws and books for the whole family. The garden is shaded for part of the day and has a climbing frame and trampoline to keep the kids busy. Feel free to scour our herb garden for produce, or pick fruit for your meals. The garden is awash with colour and perfume. Pull up a chair, relax beside the fire pit and toast a marshmallow or two. A holiday wouldn’t be a holiday without a great pool to splash around and cool off. The pool has seating, a large umbrella, and plenty of inflatables for everyone to enjoy. Once you have finished your dip, you can step in to the outdoor shower (hot water) to rinse off. Energy all spent! Curl up in the egg chair and read your favourite book. The kitchen is clean and functional and most importantly, stocked full of appliances, utensils and serving platters galore. Truly a home away from home. (Great option if visiting for the V8 cars) 10mins drive to Merewether Beach and Redhead Beach. The home is located on the Fernleigh track, popular with cyclists and running enthusiasts.
