Our home is a beautiful Victorian terrace in the centre of Berkhamsted. It is a short 7 to 10 minute walk from the train station and importantly 2 minutes from the canal for lovely walks. Perfect home for a short stay and all set up for use straight away. Living/dining room: This cosy room is bright and airy, furnished with a comfortable three-seater sofa and cuddler 1.5 sofa, plus a large fireplace with a wood burning stove. There is a smart TV with access to numerous channels including Netflix and amazon and a dining table that can comfortably seat four. Master bedroom: Bright and stylish room contains a king size bed with a small wardrobe and two chests of drawers. Bedroom 2: A small, characterful room, which contains a sofa bed which folds out to a small double bed. The space also has a fold out desk so this room can be used as a working space. Kitchen: Accessed from the front room, this well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven with induction hob, an integrated fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster and kettle. The door from the kitchen opens directly into the living/dining room, and the following rooms are on the well laid out ground floor area: Bathroom: The bathroom is downstairs on the ground floor with full shower and bath. There is also a dedicated outside seating area for guests to relax with an outdoor bench and 2 garden chairs and table. The garden is accessed direct from the kitchen patio doors. Free dedicated WiFi. Guest access Guests have full access to the whole cottage and garden. The outbuilding will be out of use with the space being used for storage. Guest must be-able to climb stairs. There is one flight of steps up to the bedrooms. There is a step into the property from the road and out to the garden. Other things to note Parking is available on the streets surrounding. This is a no smoking property and we currently don’t have any pets- but are open to requests if you would like to bring a dog or cat.
