Description
The Chapel has been newly renovated to the highest standard. In a unique country village, surrounded by an area of natural outstanding beauty, you will be able to kick back and relax in style enjoying the peace and quiet of country life. The area has many local gastropubs and country walks and is within easy distance of great local farm shops and other amenities. The space The newly converted former family Chapel has been recently renovated to a high standard. Sitting atop a hill, overlooking the village on one side and the fields on the other, the Chapel is a picture of tranquility. Walking through the gate up a little footpath, you see this beautiful late nineteenth century marvel. Inside, the space is cozy but majestic - with a lovely wood burner inside the open plan sitting/library/dining area and impossibly high ceilings. There is a fully equipped separate kitchen and a downstairs shower room and loo. Up the stairs, to the galleried mezzanine, you will find a luxurious bathroom with clawfoot bathtub and a glorious and comfortable super king bed. On the side of the house, there is a screened terrace for outdoor dining, fire pit and barbecue (obviously weather dependent). Beyond, there is a large mature garden, with wild flowers and fruit trees. The views of the village and the surrounding fields will sooth the most weary of souls. Guest access Guests will be able to access all areas of the cottage and surrounding garden and terrace. Other things to note The parking is down a lane near the house, which is for your sole use. You may unload cars outside the front gate but cars must be kept in the parking space so as to avoid issues with tractors and other farm vehicles on the village road. Please note the bedroom is up the stairs, in a large mezzanine or gallery, so is open to the rest of the house. The bathroom, however, is enclosed!
