Feel free to use everything; the apartment is yours now. This note contains some information about the studio, the neighbourhood and the city. I’ll describe some places to see and places to go to for a bite or to have a drink. Make yourselves at home. There are some things you need to know to help you get around. WIFI First of all, the Wi-Fi of course. The signal isn’t very strong but it’s fine for regular browsing. Network: Turboziggooo/Turboziggooo3 Password: Ceintuurbaan278 CENTRAL HEATING Please don’t change the settings on the digital thermostat next to the door. This thermostat also controls the neighbours’ heating. You can control the temperature in the apartment by turning the knob on the radiator. You know the drill: “lefty loosey, righty tighty”. The apartment has three radiators, each of them with its own knob. Please make sure to set the temperature very low when you leave the appartment. Windows Some of the old windows are really hard to close. If you do need to open a window, do not open the one next to the bed. Closing it will be hell and the streets are quite noisy - at night too, even with the windows closed. If you’re not used to the city sounds, I’d suggest buying some earplugs. The ‘newer’ windows can be opened in two ways: if you turn the handle 90 degrees, you can open the window completely. If you turn the handle 180 degrees you can tilt the window. You can leave them open in the tilt position when you leave - if you think fresh air is needed. * Make sure you push really hard when you open and close the windows. Shower It takes a moment for the water to get warm. I’d advise you to turn on the water before getting undressed. Watering plants I water the plants every Monday. If you’re staying here on a Monday, would you be so kind as to give them a little bit of water. Some of them don’t look very well, but I still like them! Don’t forget the one in the kitchen. Keys If you check out, please leave the keys under the doormat in front of my door. Make sure you close the front door really: It jams sometimes. Two simple rules Please do not smoke or play loud music in the apartment. The walls are very thin and the neighbours will complain. Registration Details 0363 7283 2A09 9A44 A059
