Lovely private cottage up in the trees overlooking Morton Bay and Whitefish Lake. Relax, put your feet up and look down on the lake. From up in the trees watch the life on the lake pass you by. Situated right on the end of the peninsular with 270 deg view of the lake, the surrounding deck leads into a mosquito proof outside room. There is shallow water for paddling, and deep water for swimming and diving off the dock Due to guests allergies please keep pets off the beds, especially overnight The space THE MAIN FLOOR, has a beautiful living/dining room with a pine cathereral ceiling and patio doors on three sides with lake views that lead onto the deck. The kitchen is fully fitted with twin aspect windows , lake and woodland. The master bedroom is en-suite and similar two aspects The is a guest washroom. All the main floor has lovely maple wooden flooring. FIRST FLOOR has sloping wooden ceiling, and a fitted carpet floor. There is a DVD player and exercise equipment. There are two sofas, one is a futon and can convert to an emergency double bed. THE BASEMENT is pure basic cottage. There are two bedrooms (one double one with twin bunk beds) and a shared full bathroom. The basement is half unfinished and has an extra fridge freezer and washing machine. There is a small locked room in the basement containing my family property. Guest access The whole of the cottage (except the locked basement room) is available to our guests. Other things to note WARNING: the stairs have only one hand rail and are open on the other side. There are two child gates if needed. (See pics) The deck has railings but there are openings, through which it would be possible for a determined child to wriggle and fall off. (See pics) The property is part wilderness and has two cliff drops along the edge. Care needs to be taken if exploring so as not to slip and fall. Parking is limited and we would suggest only two cars. More would require shuffling and reversing.
