Description
On the top floor of a beautiful Victorian mansion block, amidst the trendy restaurants & bars of Dalston - tucked away on a side street, full of natural light and plants this is a great base to explore from + a place to retreat to and relax!! The self contained lounge transforms into a comfortable second bedroom with a double futon bed (with a deep, comfortable mattress). Or pull down the black out blinds and charge up the projector to make a great cinema room! 1 or 4 people, its a fab! The space With high ceilings, two potential work stations and excellent internet, this is a great place to work from home. This was a victorian purpose build flat, so all the rooms are a really lovely size. The flat is full of plants, has pictures on the wall, wooden floors throughout etc so had a nice vibe. The lounge has two big windows and a sofa bed (deep depth, double futon mattress - very comfy) and black out blinds and a projector - this makes a fantastic cinema and can be transformed into a private second bedroom if you would prefer the flat set up like that. The bedroom is very private with no onlookers, but a big sash window. The room has a kingside bed, a big double wardrobe with a rail and basket drawers with sliding doors and a desk overlooking a view down the street. There is plenty of room for suitcases ;-) I have lived in this flat recently and on and off, so the kitchen is full of everything you might need to cook in terms of utensils and condiments, tea, spices, baking items, glassware and so on. The kitchen is a decent size, and very sociable, with a big table sitting 4-6 comfortably. The bathroom is super light, good water pressure, very private with a great bath! Guest access This is a self contained, one bed flat. You will have the run of the flat as if you were living there. The kitchen has all the obvious amenities and you are free to cook, use the fridge, use condiments etc. It is on the top floor of a three storey Victorian mansion block (please note there is no lift). Other things to note Please note: 1) This is an old building, radiators creak a bit, but it is full of plants, cosy and loved and a great place to work. 2) It is also 3 floors up with no lift. 3) There is a strictly no parties rule for the flat - anyone found hosting parties will be fined heavily (£500)
