Pacer's Pasture
Nestled on a quiet country road, Pacer's Pasture has everything you need for a rejuvenating stay. Just over a mile away, Haystack Mountain State Park offers scenic hiking; while the Station Place Cafe and Norfolk Pub are great eateries to enjoy dinner before catching a concert at Infinity Music Hall -- right in Norfolk. The Berkshire Country Store, an antique store, and a liquor store offer nearby provisioning and shopping. The Yale Music School is less than a mile away. On the first floor, you'll find mid-century modern furniture in the living and dining rooms, with a full bathroom off the dining room. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, drip-coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, and blender. On the first level, you'll also find a washer and dryer. Just off the living room is a deck overlooking the pasture, complete with a table and chairs to enjoy breakfast. Upstairs are two bedrooms -- one a queen-sized and the other with two twin beds. You'll also find one spacious, full bathroom upstairs. Guests have access to the apartment and lawn on the property. Guests can contact me via Airbnb, phone call, or text. This beautiful apartment in a twentieth-century Arts and Crafts home is located on a bucolic country road in the heart of New England. Enjoy walking, biking, or running on the road right out your doorstep, or drive a short distance to Haystack Mountain State Park or Great Mountain Forest trails. Norbrook Brewery, a ten-minute drive, offers disc golf while you sample what's on tap, or head over to nearby Canaan or Winsted for antique shopping and grocery needs. The Norfolk Farmers' Market -- open Saturdays from June to October -- is a great place to provision local fruits, vegetables, and flowers. It's important for guests to have their own vehicles.
