Description

A light-filled home full of character & high ceilings in Little Italy neighborhood. Very walkable area w/ GREAT restaurants, shopping, 3 blocks from Whole Foods, & three blocks from the water in two directions! Centrally located between other Baltimore neighborhoods: Fells Point, Inner Harbor, Harbor East, Canton, Federal Hill, Hampden. Within 1.1 miles of FIVE HOSPITALS! Ideal for: travel nurses, visiting resident, student, business traveler, foodies, sports fans, etc. The space The abundance of character in this entire home unit is evident as soon as the door swings open into a formal foyer complete with original archway. The high ceilings and furnishings provide a refined, yet inviting environment. It is designed for both function and comfort of those staying just overnight or for a more extended stay. ~98% Score for Walkers Paradise ~Within a 10 min walk of some of Baltimore’s Best Restaurants! ~In-unit Washer and Dryer The house features two charming, but non-working fireplaces found in the living room and the primary bedroom. Fun Fact: There are also two non-working fireplaces that are hidden- one in the 2nd bedroom behind the dresser and the other behind the sink wall in the kitchen (the fridge and w/d tuck in on either side of the cabinets so we didn’t realize this for years!) This means the original layout of the house, built in the 1830s, had a fireplace in every room. [We have been told] this allowed an individual family to live in each room of the house with the outhouse in the lower level or the exterior. But times have changed so you get all this space to yourself! This whole home unit occupies the first and second levels of the home. A back courtyard is shared with a separate lower level “garden apartment” style unit below. There are six or seven steps up to the front door. Additionally both bedrooms are located on the second floor, so unfortunately this property is not appropriate for those coming into town for a knee surgery at Hopkins. There are TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Each is equipped with a Roku in guest mode. This allows guests to input the dates of their stay prior to logging into their own streaming services so that they are automatically logged out on the final day of the stay. It’s a pretty nifty setting! Great location for travel nurses, business travelers, Orioles games at Camden Yards or football at Ravens stadium, conventions, visitors to John’s Hopkins and all sorts of Charm City fun, etc. No pets currently live on the property, but the unit is pet friendly 🐶🐱. There is a courtyard in the back with a larger planter and the neighborhood is very dog friendly! Bed and bath linens included. Local Travel- Approx. 1 hr from DC tourist areas Approx. 45 mins form Downtown Annapolis 10 min drive to train station which goes up and down east coast (NYC, Philly, Charleston, Savannah, etc). Other things to note There is a peloton bike available for use by guests who bring their own shoes or other appropriate footwear. Guests must login to their own account. Please respect my expensive investment :) thank you! Registration Details STR-956566
