THE BLVCK COTTAGE is a unique & magical little cottage set on the mountainside in the quiet conservation village of Scarborough, an hours drive from Cape Town. Just a 5-minute walk takes you to Scarborough's tranquil beach, and a 2-minute walk takes you to local hiking trails with breathtaking views. The Cottage is small but well designed, feeling spacious and peaceful. It is the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway. The space COTTAGE - Separate cottage with kitchen, small deck - Open-plan kitchen and dining area - Open-plan sleeping area with sleeping loft - Ope-plan area with additional Queen Sized bed downstairs - Bathroom with shower, bath and toilet - Glass ceiling bathroom, to lie in the bath and watch the stars *PLEASE NOTE THE COTTAGE IS AN OPEN PLAN SPACE WITH TWO BEDS, BEST SUITED TO THOSE WHO DON'T MIND SHARING A SPACE. GARDEN: - Salt water pool with 4 loungers - Hot tub (wood-fired - wood is available to purchase) - Outdoor fire pit with grill for barbecuing - Pergola with hammock and cushions - Outdoor shower - Cactus Garden Other things to note *The cottage is on the same property as the main house and faces the main house. *We have a backup battery for the entire house during load shedding. *The house is not suited for small children or those with restricted mobility as it has many levels, stairs, and a cactus garden. *The upstairs sleeping loft is accessed using a ladder, only suitable for those who are agile. *We have a strict no-party policy and no noise after 8 pm, our neighbours are very noise-sensitive and have been known to call the police. *We regret no animals are allowed.
