Perfect for unwinding, this magical retreat is styled with antique and vintage fittings and offers ample space for up to 8 adults within Middleham West —with an extra private, ground-level studio accommodating 2 more for a total of 10 guests. Inside, indulge in a spacious dining room complete with a real wood log burner, a plush lounge with comfy sofas for relaxation, and a dedicated desk space for work. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a gas oven, dishwasher, and fridge freezer, while the utility room comes with a washing machine and tumble dryer for convenience. The main house boasts four inviting bedrooms (three doubles plus a luxurious king-size primary bedroom) and features two and a half bathrooms. Enjoy a family bathroom with both bath and shower upstairs, a sumptuous ensuite with a huge copper tub for soaking, and an additional downstairs WC. For your entertainment, the lounge offers a TV with an aerial for Netflix, and Alexa is available on the ground floor. Step outside to a fully fenced country garden, where a delightful BBQ area, table, and chairs invite you to dine al fresco. The garden also unveils an incredible Victorian greenhouse, complete with a dining table and wood burner—perfect for intimate dinners or leisurely lunches. The separate, ground-level studio is ideal for extra privacy or guests who prefer to avoid stairs. It features its own king-size brass bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room, and a private patio. If coming by foot at night. The drive is unlit so you may need a torch to navigate your way to property. Guests have access to all the fenced garden area, which is private to the house and car parking in the drive comfortably 4 / 5 cars. We would say the max amount of cars we can accommodate is 6 if all cars are small i.e Mini size and guests are able to park logistically. There is a full size outdoor tennis court just 1 minute walk from Middleham West, guests will have full access to this on a first come basis. Smoking only outside in the garden please and an ashtray is provided. Other things to note 🏡 Welcome to Middleham West Please note if you book from 22nd of June, sadly we have had to put our rates up due to Airbnb increases their fee's on our listings but, our nightly rate now includes the standard cleaning fee, we want your stay to be as relaxed as possible! If you choose to use the BBQ, please leave it clean and as you found it. In cases of excessive cleaning needs or damage, additional charges may apply after your stay — though we hope this won’t be necessary. The great news: ✅ Your nightly rate includes our standard clean 🐶 One dog per stay is also included in the price! 🐾 Dogs at Middleham West We love dogs and they are very welcome here! Our garden is fully fenced, but there may be small areas where clever pups could shimmy under. For this reason, we don’t describe it as completely escape-proof, and we kindly ask that dogs are supervised in the garden at all times. Please keep dogs on a lead when outside the Middleham West gate. Don’t forget to pick up after your dog. If you’d like to bring more than two dogs, please let us know in advance — an additional fee may apply. 👶 Children & Safety We’re sorry, but we cannot accommodate children under 12 years old without prior agreement. Our home contains antiques and items that may not be suitable for young guests, and we do not provide child facilities such as cots, child locks, or beds for children. If you’d like to bring younger guests, please message me before booking so I can discuss your needs and confirm whether the property is suitable. I am happy to host one babe in arms or one child under the age of 7. However, multiple babies or toddlers may present a safety concern, as our home contains heavy and valuable antiques within a child’s reach. Please also note that we do not have child locks or children’s beds available. Please note: The garden has a pond with a safety grate. If children under 12 are approved to stay, they must be supervised at all times while in the garden. 🌿 The Greenhouse We kindly ask that: Shoes are worn inside the greenhouse. Dogs are not allowed inside, as it’s a working space and some plants or materials may be unsafe for them.
