Croc Cottage

Just back after long let. Croc is tucked away at the end of a private drive and surrounded by fields, woods & a burn. Close to stunning beaches, mountains & near Lamlash village (10 minute walk). A perfect place to relax in an idylic setting. Sharing 4 acres of private grounds with Tim's Barn, Croc overlooks the marine reserve of Lamlash Bay. Both properties can be rented together and accommodate 7 comfortably (this could extend to 10 if use 2 sofa beds & 1 z-bed). The space Croc is a traditional cottage which has been fully renovated to the highest standards. • Large, sociable kitchen/dining area with log burner • Living room with TV and open fire • Master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite • Single bedroom • Third bedroom with two single beds • Large family bathroom • Central heating The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, gas powered Lacanche kitchen range, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is a large parking area suitable for 3 large vehicles. The area is surrounded by peace and quiet. Spot red squirrels, humming bird hawk moths, nesting swallows, rare orchids, bats, golden eagles and other Arran wildlife right on your doorstep. Sleeping Arrangements The cottage sleeps 5. There is also an option to use a sofa bed in the lounge and a z bed for large family booking of 7. Croc cottage - 5 beds Master bedroom – 2 persons Single bedroom – 1 person Larger bedroom – 2 persons NOTE: Croc can also accommodate two more people if needed (sofa bed in lounge and a pull out z bed). Across the car park is Tim’s Barn which sleeps two and can also be booked. Tim’s Barn has a kitchen/dining area with log burner, mezzanine sleeping area, shower room and would make an ideal getaway for a couple. Guest access Both properties can be rented together, or separately. There is ample parking for 3 large vehicles. Other things to note There is free wifi at the cottage so you can use the internet to make calls, but the mobile phone reception in the cottage is patchy. You can watch regular TV channels and there are also a range of books and games supplied for quiet evenings in.
