Biddy’s Place Private and spacious, looking out to forest and ferns in a peaceful no through road, only a five min walk to the town centre. Fully equipped home, fantastic base for exploring the amazing scenery that surrounds Queenstown. (Claire and Jerry are your hosts. Jerry was born in this typical mining house which we have named for his mum Biddy). The space Large and bright lounge room, lovely outlook to surrounding forest. Split system heat pump in lounge and plenty of comfortable seating. 50inch TV with chrome cast to stream your favourite shows. Sunny alcove for reading. The kitchen has everything you would need to feed a family or friends, even an espresso machine, and a huge family sized fridge. Two spacious bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds, and panel heating, one opens up to a private annex, with double doors and a single bed, including small sofa. This room is perfect for a family. The large laundry area off the hall leads to the back yard, with enough room for 4-5 bikes and a deadlock for extra safety. with a deadlock for extra safety. It can easily accommodate at least 4-5 bikes, so your bikes are safely in the house with you. New washing machine, dryer and inside lines to hang out wet clothes. The large back yard is as yet unfenced, (it’s impossible to get tradies up here). Hopefully it will be fenced in the next few weeks but It does have a very shallow but fast running creek at the back which could pose a risk to young children Guest access The house can be accessed with the key lock, in case of any problems we have spare sets available. Please contact me immediately if you have any problems. You can drive your car right around to the back door and enter through the laundry which is more convenient for unpacking and especially in wet weather. Other things to note Jerry has some marvellous walks and fishing spots known only to locals, we will leave details in the brochure at the house. We are an easy day trip from beauty spots such as Corinna (1hr 30) and Cradle Mountain (1hr.30), and there are many beauty spots and walks within 15 mins o Queenstown itself.
