Welcome to Dancing Deer Acres!

Bring the family to this country haven. Enjoy 1500 sq. ft. of indoor comfort located near Amish communities and shops. New deck, summertime pool, fire pit, stocked pond and deer feeding station on 7 acres. Semi-detached house has private entrances. Host is available as needed but gives guests their privacy. Major stores are within 25 minutes. Hiking, fishing, hunting, fall festivals, Serpent Mound and beautiful views within an hour! On a paved road within 5 minutes of two major highways. The space Dancing Deer Acres has a large living room with a 65" TV and huge windows on 2 sides that showcase the yards and wildlife when they visit! Three bedrooms provide a master king bedroom, TV and attached bathroom with double sinks and shower. There is a crib if needed stored in the master walk-in closet. In addition, there is a queen bedroom with TV and a 2-twin bedroom. The twin bedroom has a few games on the bookcase shelf. The dining area includes a coffee/tea/hot cocoa station. The kitchen boasts a glass-top stove with convection oven. The refrigerator is a side by side freezer/frig. There is a garbage disposal, blender, toaster, egg maker as well as all dishes, pots and pans and utensils needed for 6. Some spices and paperware products are provided. There is a desk area for those in need of studying or working! Wifi is provided. The mudroom includes a washer and dryer as well as a half-bath. When you step out of the mudroom you enter the new deck area within steps of the pool, couch, lounge chairs and table for 6 with umbrella. Some rafts and beach towels are provided. The fire pit is located in the back yard and a grill for your use is down the steps from the deck. Grilling tools are in the mud room along with hot dog sticks for the fire pit. Cornhole is stored in the living room closet for your use. The pond was stocked a couple of years ago. If you have children ask Bob about feeding the fish! The deer feeder goes off twice a day. The deer come once in a while. They are skittish but sometimes are observed from the windows best at dusk and dawn. Squirrels and rabbits are regulars. We feed the birds so they are regulars as well. (The silver sheeting on the apple trees is meant to deter the squirrels.) We are working on a walking trail out back of the deer feeder. Please feel free to venture at your own risk. Guest access You will drive down a short gravel lane straight into the parking area and a carport to access your rental, Dancing Deer Acres! There is both a ramp and 4 short steps up to the front door which has a lockbox. You may park in any of the gravel area to the left as you enter.
