A budget friendly stay on the Kabini backwater just 10 minutes away from the Kakanakote safari ticket counter is a unique and tranquil getaway. This farmhouse is the perfect place for wonderful family time. *Consider it to be a home away from home.* *It’s a self help property, thus would not have any kind of room services, the guests are expected to keep back the house or the occupied rooms in the same order and we have a “leave no foot prints” policy.* Swetha is our cook who prepares simple local south veg food only in the ground floor house on pre request at a nominal cost, Lunch or Dinner Rs.150 and Breakfast Rs.100, tea/coffee, snacks or salad charged accordingly. Somesh is our guests assistant and would be the one point of contact, he is available at the farm only during the day. They mainly speak Kannada and make honest efforts to communicate. Request you to have patience and be polite. Tipping them would be generous and appreciated. Airtel and Jio networks work fine around, Vodafone not there. *Check-in : After 12:00 Noon* *Check-out : Before 10:00 am* Request you to make the balance payment to the same number as before while you checkout please. *ACTIVITIES* 1. Kakanakote jungle safari 2. Visit to Taraka Dam 3. Coracle/Theppa ride on the backwaters is arranged with life jackets, if and when the weather permits.
