The Lake District is within a hours drive. Free safe parking directly outside the cottage with field views surrounding the property, greeting you with peace and tranquility. The space Newly renovated, first floor one bedroom stone built holiday cottage, dating back to the 1850s with vaulted ceilings and pitched pine original beams gives it a cosy welcoming feel. Sat elevated on the edge of the village of Cowling, commanding spectacular views. Everything you need for your long and short stays! Guest access There is safe free parking for at least two cars directly outside the cottage. An enclosed private garden area. I'm usually around to hand over the keys but on the rare occasion I'm not able to welcome you the keys wiil be in the lock box next to the cottage door. The code will be sent the day before check-in. Other things to note This is a fully equipped self catering cottage, perfect for short and long stay guests. 10 Kg Washing machine, microwave, larder fridge freezer, dishwasher. Laundry and fresh towels will be provided weekly for long stay guests. I provide a welcome pack which includes tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, porridge, pastries. A secure locked barn behind the cottage where bicycles and motorbikes can be stored upon request. 1 small to medium sized dog allowed. (There is a £20 charge). An outdoor dog shower (turned off when freezing) bowls, dog treats, throw and a dog towel is provided during their stay. Strict Policy: No Dogs allowed in or on the bed thank you.
