Special peaceful cottage by the sea

Comfortable, quiet modern cottage with all amenities, close to white sandy beaches in Connemara in a Special Area of Conservation (SA). CH, open fire, dishwasher, w machine and dryer. Views over the Atlantic Ocean, from your arm chair. Free wifi. A place to chill. Pub/shop 4 miles. Please note that the cottage is usually only available from Saturday to Saturday. The space Our cottage is in the remote peninsula of Dunloughan bay at the end of the quiet road, set amongst 6 cottages overlooking an uninhabited island where the cattle and ponies graze. You can watch the sea and birdlife from the comfort of an arm chair in a peaceful setting away from the bussle of life. There are walks and bicycle rides directly from the house and the safe local beach is 500m away. Guest access The cottage is let complete. Other things to note The famous Ballyconeely golf course is 4 miles by road, visit the Connemara smokehouse nearby. There is plenty of sea and inland fishing available and the wild flowers are beautiful. Explore the Connemara National Park at Letterfrack or Kylemore Castle or the Killary, famous for its perfect and delicious mussels. There are excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs in Clifden and Roundstone, many with traditional music. Pony racing is locally at Ballyconeely and Omey island. Endless beaches along the coast, and surfing at Dunloughan. A well behaved dog is welcome but the cottage needs to be left clean and all dogs hairs hoovered up! For security we have recently installed cctv to cover the drive at the front and the terrace/oil tank to the rear. This can be switched off whilst the cottage is occupied.
