We can’t wait to welcome you here to our beautiful, semi-rural village on the outskirts of Sheffield. The guest suite has been recently redecorated to the highest standard from the quirky crocodile wall covering to the beautiful wool rug and rainfall shower. Please ask, I aim to accommodate everyone. The space You will be staying in a large double bedroom on the top floor of my 5 bedroom modern property situated in the lovely village of Oughtibridge. The room has fabulous views down the valley and gets lots of natural light from its south facing aspect. There is an area on the landing for all your tea/coffee needs and a roomy fridge for your own use. Also in this area is hanging space & storage for your luggage. The full bathroom comprising of basin, Omnitub (double Japanese soaking tub), shower & toilet is at the bottom of the stairs. This space is also exclusively for your use not a shared bathroom. Toiletries like quality hand soap, shampoo & shower gel are provided to avoid single use plastics plus candles & bath salts so you can relax after a busy day. Breakfast will be served at a time of your choosing on your top landing area. There is a choice of freshly baked sourdough with lashings of butter & preserves or banana bread. I can accommodate different dietary requirements providing I have adequate notice. I will ask about this when I send a message a week before arrival unless you have told me already. For longer stays we can decide what would suit you best. (PLEASE NOTE : For longer stays there is a well equipped kitchen which can be used by prior arrangement. You will have your own fridge with a freezer compartment & cupboard space for your own use during your stay. Additional storage space can also be provided if arranged prior to your stay) To clarify sleeping arrangements there is a (double) bed then an additional (small double) sofa bed which can be made up on request (please see pictures). There is a recently landscaped secure garden to the rear with large composite decking, seating area, dining area & climbing frame(weather permitting). Both the front & back gardens are secure but children must be supervised at all times. For the warmer months there is also a bistro table in the front garden which could be used for breakfast if you prefer to eat alfresco. Secure bike storage is available in the garage (at prior request). Guest access Guests have their own bedroom suite (bed area & seating area) plus coffee area & bathroom for their exclusive use. The room feels very private because it’s on its own floor. The other room on the top floor is just for storage & is not used during your stay. I’m happy for guests to use the outside space during their stay weather permitting. The main kitchen can be used for longer stays at prior request. The garage can be used for bike/sports equipment etc at prior request. During your stay I will be on hand during your stay & if there’s anything you need you can text me instantly so I can help you.
