The Oak Escape

Come breathe in the fresh air of the Yercaud Hills. Enjoy your morning coffee in this relaxing environment away from your everyday routine. Whether it’s reading a book and listening to music on our terrace or warming up around the fire pit after a scenic hike through the coffee plantation, this house has something for everyone. The space The Oak Escape is quite unique and is nested in the midst of a large coffee estate, surrounded by fresh and crisp air. It is located in Semmanatham, a serene neighborhood which is easily accessible to all touristy spots in Yercaud. Two large bedrooms are identical in size, with a king-size bed and an attached bathroom. The third bedroom is a guest bedroom which has a queen bed and an attached bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with gas cooking. Our house is ideal for 2-3 families. It has a cozy mountain feel with all the modern amenities needed for a peaceful vacation. On the outside, you'll find plenty of green space to stroll . There is a stream flowing through our estate. Additionally, there is also a beautiful space for a campfire with a night sky view. This is not a regular homestay but an experience. Guest access Guests will have complete access to the property. Occasionally, the hosts may use one of the bedrooms in the terrace, and will not be intrusive to the guests. Other things to note Cell phone coverage is very spotty at the property. The large living room has a TV and wifi router. Wifi calling works well inside the house. Bonfire can be provided at an additional cost of Rs.1000/night. Complimentary black Coffee from the farm will be provided twice a day. Extra cups will be charged. The electricity supply is fairly stable - but there can be occasional power cuts. We have a UPS for lights but the hot water will not be available in case of a power cut. There are no resident cooks available. Food can be sourced from nearby restaurants. However orders must be placed well in advance with our property manager. Last minute requests will not be entertained Linens will be supplied, First Aid Kit, Trash Bags, Paper towels, Hand soap. Absolutely no fireworks. We have a lot of trees and plants surrounding our house, and this is a fire hazard. Children and minors should always be accompanied by adults.
