This home is centrally located to most Los Angeles based events This craftsmen era bungalow with 2 bedrooms and 2 outdoor areas has been updated with new floors and fresh paint. Although the space is not huge, it’s big on character. The dining area and bedroom with king bed open to the side patio. The living and dining give you the open concept feel. The separate outdoor spaces allow privacy and space when desired. We are also blessed to have a few handmade tiles by the late and great Ernest Batchelder built into the mantel. Referred to by many as “Mayberry” as it is as close to a small town utopia as could exist in the county of Los Angeles. For its size there is a surprising amount of local amenities that range from the Sierra Madre Playhouse to Poppy Cake Baking Company. If you enjoy the outdoors this is a great community for both hiking and mountain biking. Pasadena is just down the street for an elevated dining and lifestyle experience, and let’s not forget the Rose bowl. The LA Arboretum is about a mile away and Santa Anita racetrack is not much further. Much of the Southern California coast is under an hour away. With downtown LA being close enough yet far enough , there is something for everyone to enjoy and experience. The town of Sierra Madre is very walkable. You will be located 2 short blocks away from the center of town. The Gold Line is a 5 minute drive from the home. There is no overnight street parking without a permit but you can obtain one online via the City of Sierra Madre website. We do offer a NEMA 14-50 outlet that can be used to charge your Ev. You will need to bring your charging equipment with you. However, the use of electricity and the outlet is a complimentary amenity for registered guests. Trash days are on Mondays. Please bring down the containers either Sunday evening or Monday morning. The black containers are for trash. The blue are for recyclable items. The green is for the gardener who comes every other week. As a reminder there is a dedicated parking space on the far right of the parking area. The left side is designated for the front home. It is ok to park on the right side of the home if you are charging your ev. Please bring your charging equipment as we have a NEMA 14-50 outlet for stage 2 charging.
