Unique ground floor with garden @ historic center

Very exceptional is this charming ground floor apartment in a 16th century monastery building. In addition, super centrally located and with a cozy garden, to get your aperitif of a day in the bustling city! You rarely see this in the city center! The apartment has a large, open kitchen, high, wooden ceilings, many windows, wooden floors, a beautiful bedroom with plenty of storage space and a second bedroom on a half open mezzanine that you enter with a wooden ladder. The space The garden is west-facing and with a nice terrace, exclusively for you. The old monastery building dates back to the 16th century and much of the original charm has been preserved in the restoration, such as the high wooden ceilings, beautiful facade, mosaic tiles in the corridor to the garden, and a beautiful brick wall in the living room that is as old as the building itself. You enter the apartment at the fully installed, open kitchen. There is a refrigerator with freezer compartment, an oven and gas fire, a combi microwave oven, a Nespresso machine and kettle (and everything for your cup of coffee or tea). The living area is stylishly furnished with a cozy sitting area and TV (digital TV). You'll feel right at home! There is a nice bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet in the hallway to the garden. The master bedroom has plenty of storage space, a mosquito net above the bed (160 x 200 cm) and large windows from which you can also enter the garden. A great way to start the day! Above the kitchen is the mezzanine with an extra double bed (140 x 200 cm). A cozy place but we do not recommend this for very young children or people who are bad to walk, because you have to climb a wooden ladder and the mezzanine is half open. Small but important remark: The extra bed is only available for a booking of 3 or 4 people. If you are with 2 but still like to use the extra bed, then we charge a one-time fee of €15 for this. Let us know in this case, then we will make sure that the second bed is also ready. Guest access You have the entire ground floor apartment with terrace and garden to yourself! Other things to note Some things to keep in mind during your stay: - Smoking is not allowed inside (we have a terrace/garden for this (and ashtrays) - No pets allowed (unfortunately too often spots on the carpet and the like) - Please leave inside your shoes, especially on the carpet - Pay attention to wet spots on the wooden floor, especially in the bathroom. Please also always leave the bathroom door open after showering, so that the room can ventilate properly. Please note that this is a residential building. No noise or loud music and no more than 4 people in the apartment. - Please sort the garbage as indicated on the garbage cans - The use of the apartment for purposes other than tourist accommodation is not permitted (unless discussed with us) - Please make sure that all lights and heating are turned off (thermostat at 19 degrees), all doors and windows closed and locked, and the key is back in the key lock.
