Adirondack Stags Leap

An Adirondack recreational bonanza with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths on 2+ acres with wide waterfront. Sleeping is best for 12-14 adults or up to 10 adults plus 6 children. 16 guests max. Includes: private tennis court, sand volleyball court, linens, wifi, fire wood, swimming with sand bottom, boat house with available slip, dock, 2 large decks, screened porch, multiple patios, barbecue area, fire pit, large grass yard and woods. Lots of parking. Only 2 miles from Old Forge near First Lake. The space The "Adirondack Stags Leap" vacation home was built in the 1930's in the historic Adirondack "Camp" great lodge style. This camp offers incredible recreation and living space for multiple couples, friends, or extended families alike. Tennis court and volleyball courts plus the wide waterfront provide the basis for an unforgettable vacation. It is ideal for a revitalizing spring, a fun-filled summer and an adventurous autumn and the famous Adirondack color-changing leaves. We have magnificent trees on our 2+ acres and the fall view of the hillside across the Channel is a must-see. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, approx 2.5 acres, including the house, boathouse and private tennis court. A fully equipped kitchen is provided including range top, oven, microwave, and numerous pots, pans, bowls and utensils. Ceramic dishware, plastic/glass cups, and metal tableware are provided for use. Coffee makers, toasters, waffle makers available. Trash bags, foil and plastic wraps are shared, to be replaced if emptied. A wine/coffee bar is located next to the French Doors. No food is provided, but spices and non-refrigerated condiments and cooking oils may be available. Five of the six bedrooms and 3 baths are located on the second floor. All bathrooms are either en suite or semi-private (shared by 2 bedrooms). The 2 bunk beds in Bedroom 5 are full size on the bottom and twin on the top making a great kids room, or adult sleepover. Limited mobility access: Bedroom 6 is located on the first floor with an en suite bathroom, perfect for older or limited mobility guests. A ramp is available in the garage/laundry so steps are limited to short door entryways. A trundle bed is available in this room in addition to the beds listed, with linens/blankets in the closet. Laundry includes up to 2 washers and 2 dryers for guest use. Other things to note Our house pumps water from a well, and we have a full home filter system, as well as a drinking water faucet on the right kitchen sink. Bottled water is available (refills in the garage) if preferred. Please limit to 4 bottle per week. We do not provide watercraft, but guests are welcome to bring their own or rent. Rentals are available at a number of local businesses listed in the Guide book and others.
