Spacious Studio Suite in Private Home

Our studio suite (the entire lower floor of our home) is only a one-minute walk to beautiful Paje Beach! It consists of a very spacious air-conditioned room with comfortable beds for up to 4 people, a dining area/workspace, and a large private bathroom with hot water. There is also a well-equipped kitchenette space with a gas ring, microwave, fridge - everything needed to prepare a simple meal. The private patio has a table and chairs overlooking our pool and large enclosed tropical garden. The space Our house is a private oasis, set in a big, walled garden full of fruit trees and tropical plants, surrounding our large pool. We live on the upper floor of the main house, and have two Airbnb rooms on the property: the ground-floor suite, and also a traditional coconut banda beside the pool. The property is located in an area of nice hotels and villas on a footpath that takes you to the beach (1 minute) and the village (5 minutes). Everything you could need is within easy walking distance. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the pool and lounging areas of the garden, as well as their own private space. Other things to note We have two medium-large dogs on the property, who are our pets, but also our security guards. They are super-friendly with guests, but don’t allow unfamiliar locals to enter the property. We value peace and quiet, but cannot always guarantee it. Paje is a bustling village with a booming tourism sector. There are often parties and events at hotels, especially in high season. One of the most famous parties is the Friday night party at Jambo Hotel just up the beach from us. Many of our guests want to join the party, but if that isn’t your style, we recommend you avoid booking on Friday nights. The music can be loud (even with the windows closed, you may be able to hear the music) and it goes late! Zanzibar is an absolute paradise, but it is still Africa, and infrastructure is not as developed as it is in some other countries. The power does go out in the whole village occasionally, but not usually for more than a few hours. We do NOT have a generator on the property, so we do not have lights, hot water or WIFI during a power outage. We can provide solar-powered lights for guests to use if needed. The luxury hotel beside us does have a generator, so guests can always head next door for a drink, and use their WIFI.
