Dear Guests our place was created with a lot of love and passion in order to provide traditional hospitality. It consists of 2 buildings and accommodates up to 8 guests, Building A accommodates 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, a sofa bed, and a bathroom. The second building accommodates 3 guests in 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. Our place is located on a private plot fully fenced offering privacy in your vacation moments. Issos Beach is 10 minutes away by car. The space Dear guest/nature lovers close to our property you will find Korission Lake which is located on the southwest coast of Corfu just behind the beach of Chalikouna and next to the beach of Issos. It belongs to the broader area of ​​Agios Mattheos Village, which is located in the north. It is the largest lagoon in Corfu and the most important wetland that constitutes an undisturbed natural very rich ecosystem. Is a shelter for more than 120 species of birds and other animals. It covers an area of ​​approximately 6,000 acres of saltwater, it connects with the sea through a narrow opening to the southern part of Halikouna beach. Next, to Korission Lake there is a small cedar forest that separates the two large sandy beaches of Chalikouna and Issos. The Cedar forest in Issos is the only cedar forest that exists on the island and is located in the lakeside areas of Lake Korission, the largest and most significant wetland on the island. The Cedar forest is situated above the sandy beaches of Chalikounas and Issos and consists of sharp cedars, a kind of cedar that grows in the northern Mediterranean coastal sands. What is better than to enjoy swimming on these wonderful beaches and then wander in this unique forest? The whole area is preserved and integrated into the network Natura and includes, besides the Cedar forest, the Lake, the beaches but also the sand dunes, the creation of which started 120-240 thousand years ago and their height surpasses 15 meters, creating a unique, regarding its aesthetics, landscape.
